We all want Marbury to succeed, but we're seeing things out of him that doesn't seem to be changing. His defense isn't good, yet, and he's gonna be 30? And he's afraid to take shots in the clutch and asking Jamal to handle it? There's something wrong with that. Great player at times, but something is wrong inside there. I am rooting like hell for him too, but signs are starting to clear up just a liiiiittle bit more each day.

BTW, I never was, and still am not a Steve Francis fan, in terms of his game. His decision making on offense is absolutely abyssmal and might be worse than Jamal's (Jamal played like crap today too) and his defense is no better than Marbury's.

I guess I originally liked the trade because like many of you, I thought we were getting a good player cheap who could recover value.

I think he's been somewhat exposed and I don't think we have hope of moving him & his contract. And the worst thing is being stuck with both Francis and Marbury

i think Francis deserves somewhat of a pass since he just got here & is having a hard time knowing his role w/Marbury, Nate & Crawford all playing PG at 1 time or another... it was alot easier for Jalen to adjust because he's being used at the 3 position & hasn't had to deal w/the same issues of trying to find his niche like Steve is going through right now... i think he'll be alot better next year after 1 full training camp under his belt.

Some of that's true but we are seeing that Steve has bad passing instincts and a terrible jumpshot.
