I just can't get off this guy...Larry Brown is a bad guy no question....Larry Brown and a few journalist in New York is trying to get Steph out of this town...They rehash the same stories with a new twist to bury Steph in the press all the time...Larry tells the press all that goes on in private meetings he has with Steph...In the last game against the Pistons, Steph told Larry he wanted out to give the last shot to Craw, which was the right thing to do...Larry rats him out in the press...Larry tells the press Steph didn't want to take the last shot so he wanted out the game...This is the guy you all love...This is the guy you all think is the best coach on earth...

I have always been saying watch what Steph does on the court and not what Brown says...Brown does not like Steph and neither does a few members of the press...Frand Isola being one of them...I really believe they are acting on concert to get Steph out of New York and all the fans are buying into it...
You are being played and you can't even see it.....

I didn't understand why Brown told the press that Marbury wanted out of the game.

what was the point other than to Marbury look like the bad guy?

yeah, it was my understanding there was a truce. I guess Larry doesn't follow that either. He's getting on my nerves...btw, so is marbury. they both need to STFU

Keeping Steph is good because he is a gamer...All that stuff about leadership is bull...Steph is no leader but neither is Billups or Duncan....They win anyway...Can you really say Billups is leading Sheed or Ben Wallace or Rip or Prince...Do you ever see Duncan vocally leading anyone on San Antonio?
What is it you want from Steph that he is not doing? Can Steph be successful in this town, my answer is yes...trading Steph set back this team because he have to take back big salary and you know they won't be as talented a player...

i'm sure LB & the NY media made up all those bogus stories about ex-teammates not liking him, & all those direct quotes saying as much were all spun & taken out of context, weren't they? they made up all the lies about Marbury's old teams improving as soon as he left too, i suppose... it's just a big, giant conspiracy to run Marbury out of NY... you've uncovered the truth holfresh... someone call ESPN... they need to run an exposé on this pronto!

i've watched Steph pass up big shots in crunchtime when he had the ball in his hands in the past, miss big FT's w/the game on the line, play porous defense, complain about calls he didn't get when he should be running back to defend his man, roll his eyes & bark at teammates for missing shots & missing defensive assignments when he does more than his fare share of the same, all of which have at some point or another cost this team W's & helped to ruin team chemistry... this is over the course of a few years... my opinion on him isn't something formed over reading a few news articles.

Duncan LEADS BY EXAMPLE.

Billups isn't Dteroit's leader, he is their point guard. The guys who are - RIP and BIG BEN - LEAD BY EXAMPLE.

what could I ask from Steph?

being a leader is showing it on the court. making your teammates better. steph never did that in his whole career. hes cancer. nuff said

the only thing they want from steph is him gone. I think the larry brown press backlash is already beginning nationally...the other media outlets are beginning to see what some of us have been so desperately trying to point out to the steph haters.

Are you kidding me? Billups is definitely a leader. He wants the ball in his hands at the end of the game, the rest of the Pistons know this and respect it.

Why stop there...You have also seen the guy be the best player for the Knicks all year...He is the only guy that can be counted on night after night...Trade the entire team then because no one plays defense...How has he ruined team chemistry when they have not won one...not one game without him...

Thye have been talking all that smack Steph entire career...So now that Isola and Lupica get on their soap box about events that happened years ago, I'm going to get riled?....I don't think so...You can believe what you want...But if you can't see Larry trying to Bury this guy for his own reasons...you have to be blind.....

I was messing around looking at team records, and remember when brown said he never left a team in worst shape when he left than when he arrived?

How come Indiana was 41 and 41 before he arrive, his first year he was 47 and 35 but they were 39 - 43 when he left them.

Or did he just mean almost never left a team in worst shape then when he arrived...or does the teams record not count in the shape they are in?

Just suprising none of the other marbs supporters caught that quick little double talk mistake...I know the marbs bashers wouldn't.

not to mention he left denver in worst shape as well.

Just thought it was neat to see that he actually did leave somewhere with a worst records than he arrived.

let me guess. Holfresh is from Coney Island? Am I right? People are just suddenly making all this stuff up? The problem is... not his talent. Its his head. He's not a leader. He's selfish. He's trying to change... but its not working. Our problem is.. he's our best player, our point guard, and we have to rely on him to make good decisions. Which he doesn't. He sets the tone. He sets a bad tone... Hopefully can move him for a draft pick.

You guys kill me.....Steph is the reason guys like Lee get dunks all over the pl;ace...Why Craw get wide open 3's....You know what...yeah trade Steph and watch Lee get buried on the bench next year because he adds nothing offensively to this team....
