Although he had a horrible game considering his standards, the refs give him way too much leeway....he gets calls like no other player ive seen in college basketball....the amount of handchecks,touch fouls they call on opposing players who guard him is ridiculous....

Its the Larry Bird calls, the Jordan calls, etc. Gusy like him get promoted. Refs buy into their greatness, they are people too. So if he messes, there must be somethign wrong. He could not just have shot an airball, no way, so they tend to look for fauls when it comes to a guy like that. Thats nothing new. Undermines the integrity of the game, but bball is half entertainment aftearll.
