Wow! I'd still redo the trade, though.

Against the defensively challenged Phoenix Suns.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Phoenix gives up a lot of points because of the pace of the game (they're defensive FG% is actually pretty good). But this is actually an impressive feat by Nazr I only see two other games where a C/PF has gone off for 30 against Phoenix this year. It's normally the guys at the front of the break that have big games against them.

Bonn, if you prefer to trade for players based on one big game then you should go buy you a Playstation

for the MLE he'd be a decent addition to any team... unfortunately we have Big Turd on the bench for the next 4 years.

Is this a thought, synapse, comment, or a mind fart?

Malik, David Lee, and another late 1st rd pick or Nazr? I'd take Lee over Nazr for our long-term interests. The other 1st rd pick is just a bonus. This was one of Isiah's best trades.

This isn't that out of the ordinary. Nazr had the occasional big game for the Knicks as well. He's a good garbage man type player to have on the court, and no doubt he fits that role well on a stacked team like the Spurs. If he was still here, I get the feeling people would likely be complaining about his weaknesses more than complementing his strengths, such as his defense (little shotblocking, sometimes slow on rotations) and the quiet type of games he tends to have interspersed with his bigger games.

well, to be honest Bonn your post was rather confusing. I gave you the benefit of the doubt. But in actuality, it didn't co-incide with the topic.

What was confusing? I said he had a great game but I'd still redo (i.e., do again) the Nazr trade

redo means do over again.

It can be construed as saying, I would still "do the trade again" but unless you sit and analyze it -- one has to take it to mean I would "do the trade over again".

Meaning, do over. If i had a choice I would redo the paint job. Which one has to take it as if you are saying that you did not like it.
