It's DOLAN "S Fault... He knows nothing about sport franchises and killing this one..

Why would you hire an idiot like ASSiah after he was just fired by Indiana???

there was a reason why Larry legend gave ASSiah the hook... knicks didn't even look @ Assiah's track record
fired by raptors, fired by indiana, killed the CBA league... nice record!!!

Dolan needs to stick to cable friendly cablevision and get out of the sport franchise business cause he's doing a pathetic job as owner..

i guess they had no choice but to take ASSiah as G.M/ Pres cause there is no one out there willing to work for a buffoon like Dolan...

It's astonishing how many people want new bandaids by wanting Larry, isiah, or Steph replaced and don't even mention Dolan, Mills, or Cablevision

doesnt Dolan own and run the Rangers as well? Funny how Glen Sather did some similar things that Isiah did, tried some different coaches and when it didnt work he tore it all down in one shot. That came from the GM.

Nothing has gone right this year. Its been nothing but more of the same, right out of the gate. Overpriced stars not playing hard and not following a HOF coach. So Isiah's moves? Trade away $33mm that would have come off the payroll at the end of the year along with Ariza for Jalen Rose and Steve Francis.

Sorry... I think its pretty obvious who and what is the problem with this organization right now. Dolan isnt going away, and yes he hired Mills and Isiah. Bad hires. Go get someone with half a track record of success in building a team that has demonstrated the ability to make good peronsel decisions. Where has Isiah done that?

the rangers would still be sh tty if it wasn't for the strike. the hard cap enabled them to shed all the "fat" and they were able to make it work.

Not THAT is a good point! ITs all too easy to rid the problem but not the fix. Dolan selling does not really change unless there is a philosophical change.

It's an organizational issue. It's a culture of losing that has permeated this place. It's a culture of impatience which has led to firing after firing and hasty trade after hasty trade dating back to the Patrick Ewing days. Little has changed, it's just more obvious now because our team stinks. But this atmosphere has been here forever. Even when Patrick was leading us. We just happened to be lucky that he was as good as he was. But think about it. We never allowed anyone to grow with Patrick. We never got him a second star. We never took a step back to take two steps forward.

Everyone is to blame from the owner, to the GM, to the coach, to the players to the fans to the media. It's sickening that this culture has been allowed to exist. The best thing this team did was hire LB despite his poor job this year. It's akin to the Pat Riley hiring. Now we finally have a coach with clout who we can build around. All we need is a GM to get on the same page as him(Zeke or no Zeke) and let them build together. Then sit back and be patient. More firings and calling for people's heads will only lead to more off the cuff, let me save my job by signing a superstar moves that have existed here for decades.

I seem to be the only one that understands why Layden and Zeke made these asinine moves. They aren't idiots. They know these moves were risky and may cost their jobs. They know this. But if they tried to rebuild and every rookie did not turn out to be a star they would have been fired. They could not afford to rebuild. Until we stop putting our GM's in this position and allow them to build with the coach instead of pointing fingers we will just be seeing the same moves again, just with a different name in the GM seat.

Go back through the last 20 years and look at the stabs at stars that we have made. Moves that were not all made by Zeke and Layden.

i can't blame isaih fully because he brought a talented team here. this team has more talent than the teams in the past 5 years. i dish out equal blame to brown and the players, not just marbury. i do not agree with public berating. that is not necessary and it undermines the trust. i agree with marbs about sitting down and talking or even yelling in practice. but to publicly make fun of a professional is senseless. all of us have jobs and if your emplyer was upset with you about something, would you like them to announce it to the public that you are sucking? no. they talk to you in private. that is being a professional. on the flip side, being a professional means doing what is told. not diffrentiating from your commands is what a professional should do no matter what. i do not agree with my principal or superintendent ( i am a teacher. can you tell with the capitalization skills but i have to suck it up and do my job. these players are getting paid a LOT of money to do the same thing and they are playing indifferent. play the game you love and take pride in your work. i think marbs and other players don't with a few exceptions. that is frustrating for any boss.

I can't stand Dolan from my head to my toes, but if he were to sell the team, it would be such a risky investment, that say he sells it to some dude who also isn't a fan and just cares for the money, then we're screwed for another 10 years. I am almost positive that if Dolan were to sell the franchise, he wouldn't care how the guy would run the org., just as long as he gets his money in return. That makes me scared. Hence, we're prolly just better off looking to either completely blow this team up again, get a new gm who is more competent, or just add a couple of other pieces with some minor trades and see how things work out. I don't really support C.

Our problem is we keep trying to find ONE PERSON to point the blame at. Then we fire or trade that person and then are surprised when the problem doesn't go away. This is an organizational issue. It is a culture of losing that we live by. Hiring LB and allowing him to do his thing is the solution. If Zeke can't get on the same page he is gone. But if he can, he has to stay.

When Dolan backed LB and Zeke a few weeks ago that was the best move he has ever made. He finally took the reins away from the horse and gave it back to the jockey. Do what the coach says or get lost.
