Chicago has it.

Say goodbye to Greg Oden.

You know, in lieu of lottery protection this year, we really should have fought to make next year's pick swap conditional on this year's pick not being a lottery pick.

I keep reading that the 2006 pick to Chicago is conditional. every nba.com related article says this. Is the condition that if it was 27th or higher, it was going to Phoenix? Or is there some protection? Have the Knicks ever actually said there's no protection?

Or am I trying to make myself believe Zeke couldn't possibly be THIS stupid?

it's conditional like this: If the pick is 25 or higher it goes to PHO, if not it goes to CHI. That's it.

Isiah don't need no protection.

Isiah would go to a Hatian whorehouse and think nothing of schtupping the skinny one with white foam emitting from her oozing genital herpes and still he think he's ok!

I hear Isiah is banking on Social Security being there when he retires.

if we were offered at the beginning of the season Frye for Chicago's pick would you accept? We lose Frye but if we are the worst team we get Greg Oden, who is so good he is sometimes compared to wilt.

I would do it in a flash

I cannot deal with the Bulls swapping our pick next year.

Is this swap after the lotto balls come up? Lets say we pull a Milwaukee and move up 7 spots to the no. 1, do we then have to give it the bulls?

That would take me out.

What's wrong with you guys. The Bulls don't have that option. They either take this year's pick or next. They pass on this pick's and say next year oh wow you guys finished better than we thought we will take last year's pick. It doesn't work like that. If they take this year's pick, then next year pick is the Knicks. It call hedging done everyday in the business world.

Isiah's ego led this deal.

in the past he stated the problem in Chicago with Curry and Crawford were they weren't being coached right. Under his care they would blossom. When the truth is, they for the most part were/are uncoachable.

In his mind he probably felt he had fleeced Pax like a preacher to the point where he left 2 unconditional picks in successive years on the table as "proof" of he and his staffs ability in the matter.

Its to the point now where Pax' face should be on the ROFLMAO emoticon

How reliable is this info because it also says that the Knicks don't get the Denver pick if it is a lotto pick period. MSG reports that the pick is only protected to 5. Also, the option for the Bulls to swap, I thought was conditional on the Suns first choice. Either way, looking at some of the other deals, it is a horrible negotiation. MOst picks are lottery protected. Isiah made deals in Toronoto but he included lottery protection. What's the deal with most of his deals in NY not being lottery protected.

In addition, New York conveys to Chicago, New York’s 2006 regular first round draft choice on condition that the pick does not actually go to Utah (due to not being number 26-30) and also on condition that New York receives San Antonio’s 2006 regular first round selection (due to being number 11-30).

If New York’s 2006 first round does go to Utah (due to being number 26-30), and New York does receive San Antonio’s 2006 first round pick (due to being number 11-30), New York conveys to Chicago that San Antonio first round selection.

In addition, New York also conveys to Chicago the right to switch first round draft picks with New York in 2007 provided that New York’s first round selection does not go to Utah (is not number 25-30). Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. This trade is conditional upon the players passing their physicals.

NY would have to be a top 5 team next year, in which case the pick is Utah's to avoid switching with chicago

So the Marbury deal is why the Bulls put that option in the deal. Hmm...

What's worst yet, is the head coach already told the press that he doesn't want anymore rookies. I wonder if he encourage, Isiah to be that stupid. He was very hot for Curry with the Pistons
