There is only one Knick that will always be #3 and this is John Starks.

You could keep both Marbury and Starks with their #3. Both guys are overly hyped anyway. Marbury's 20/8 is hype just as Starks's heart and defense. Ask MJ, Miller, Kenny Smith about Starks. He did nothing when it really counted. As bad as this season is nothing can compare with Game 6 1994. That made Charles Smith effort in Game 5 1993 look heroic. I can't stand this crap anymore. This organization hasn't had real players on this team since the early 70s except Ewing. This team always have to settle for pass-me-downs. You come to the Knicks when you want to take a break from the hastle of playing like it counts, or you are about to retire but not quite yet.

LJ was drafted by the hornets and we got him when they wanted to dump his massive (at the time) contract on us because they did not want him on thepayroll with his back. Made two allstar games as a hornet, he too, although young was past his prime due to his back problems.
Averaged 66 games a season for 5 years with us. Made the playoffs each time1

Bernard King was here for only 206 games! Nice games though.

After a nice start witht he Nets, he did time in Utah and with the Warriors before the Knicks got him. ONce he dropped his coke habit, he was a tremendous professonal in his SHORT time here.

Doc Rivers was past his prime. and was in his 30's. Played only 99 games.

Derek Harper was a 10 year vet on the downside when he came to us. Played 216 games for the knicks.

These guys were nice players and made solid contributions, but were not drafted by us nor did they have their best years with us except for King.

Oak played 10 years and almost 800 games! Starks 8 years, Ewing 15 years, 1500 games!
Reed, 10 years, 700 games, Frazier, 10 years, 900 games!, Monroe, 9 years 700 games, Bradley, 10 years,850 games. Debussure, 6 years, 544 games!
