this is a weird draft--you can easily get a player between 20-30 that could be better than pick 1. There are high end guys--for example nba draft.net had a good column this morning on two guys who are rising in terms of play-- Leon Powe and Paul Millsap. EACH of these guys has considerable upside --if anyone remembers Powe from the MCd game 3 years ago, he is a cross 3-4 with incredible offensive skills. I was able to watch Millsap play a few times this year--I wasnt impressed the first time I saw him, looked like a banger but was much improved last weekend on that ESPN full court game against Hawaii. Very powerful athletic with longb arms. Looks like a Reggie Evans with much more offensive polish.

Feel like there are SOFTER type guys at the top of the draft other than Foye and more warriors in the lower seeds.

Guys like PJ Tucker Powe Millsap Shannon Brown---tougher athletic physical players which we NEED.

Id rather stay away from soft players--we need a dose of toughness.

We have our two picks, and really there is no clear cut No.1 franchise player.

While I hate whats going on, I might still concur that Eddie would be very high pick if not the 1st overall if taken.

Do we even use our two picks? Who stays, who goes on our present roster? MOre rookies for Larry? I dunno?

BRIGGS - Can you give some info on Mardy Collins? NBADraft.net has him as a great ballhawking defender and a great team player.

If you watch a lot of college basketball, you ask yourself from watching these guys repeatedly is a Lamarcus Aldridge or a Rudy Gay better than a Leon Powe even if you project to NBA? Rudy has the MOST PURE talent out of ANYONE in the draft, no question in my mind, but it hasnt conveyed to consistent production. If Rudy played up to his massive massive potnetial, this nCAA tournament would be a Uconn breakaway, but he just hasnt and that got to be a concnern for nBA GMs. Hes soft

Hes kind of like a Marquies Daniels--around 6-6 220 can play 1-2-3. Not very athletic and I dont recall him being a great defender, but he sure is good at using his size as a guard. he can play a legit 1.

WOW. The Knicks got you in a foul mood? You just said something bad about a UCONN player.

The truth will set you free. Rudy Gay is soft as babies arse right now and its a BIG disappointment. But if he happens to fall to 20 I will be very happy to take him:>)

Is Kevin Pittsnogle a viable candidate for our SA pick? Looks like a bad defensive player but is a lethal shot from the outside. Might be a good player for Stevie Franchise.

Didn't Brown indicate that he doesn't want anymore rookies/young players on this team. He said that trading the pick is their best option.
I don't like to play bad rookies , I like to play good rookies - Mike D'Antoni
A lot of good players at end of 1st round
