Over the weekend I stayed up late and caught some of the Wyoming vs Utah game. There is a 6-10ish guy named Justin Williams who just blocks everything and rebounds everything. Unfortunatly Wyoming lost in the finals to SDSU and has a losing record so they will not be in the postseason but the guy was impressive. He is the type of defensive player the Knicks need to help you guards out.

Wish we had a 2nd rounder to take on him.

I posted about him a few months back. He's certainly a guy you need to look at when you sit with a late 1. Hes lengthy but raw. Same school as Theo ratliff--I think he broke Theo's SB record this year.

His body is not as good and the level of competition is a level down, but there is no way they can ignore his length and what he has shown with it. My guess is he goes to Portsmouth and the NBA camps where he goes up against better competition, teams will bring him in etc... his body of work is limited--need to see what he can do going against bigger more skilled dudes.

Saw him this weekend too. Shotblocking looked phenomenal, but he looked a little thin. Interesting player.

Agree his body isn't as good. His hands are absolute crap. Theo Ratliffe is a good comparison.

the kid IS a hell of a shotblocker, and good rebounder. i'd take him in the late first, he could be our reggie evans on the cheap, plus he could block shots. AND we could all delete the ratliff trade senarios from our minds. i know the competition he's played is'nt the best, but still over '5' blocks per is S.I.C.K.

I'm a big Syracuse fan, but G-mac is not going to be a starting NBA player IMO.
