saves houston well over 50 million dollars and gives them some youth to play with as they willnever get time here in ny with coach brown. yes tmac is injury prone but he prolly wont get the minutes hes getting in houston and thats prolly the best we can do for marbury

This is a great trade, but it's missing one thing... where's the cocaine that the Houston owner has to first snort in order to make this deal? That's the only chance of this deal happening.

Marbury, two first rounders, and 50 pounds of cocaine

for

T-Mac

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

You talking about the T-Mac who plays 40 games a season?

Why don't we just go for Tim Duncan straight up?

I don't think JVG would take Marbury even if you include Frye.

i really think its feasible. tmac is so injury prone and it really hurts them because they depend on him so much. we wont need to depend on him as much bc of quentin and rose. i guess not lol

not a bad idea. Houston might be fed up with Tmac. Unless you want another late first round pick on who won't see the light of day under Larry Brown ala Nate/Lee how could you not like this trade? Mcgrady heals in the offseason and we have francis, mcgrady, Jalen, frye, curry. Me like!

exactly. they are one of the highest paid teams in the league and have little to show for it with one of the worst records in the west. im sure if we throw in david lee and nate (for marketing reasons) they would def give it great consideration.

They might insist on Francis instead because he has the better contract. How ironic would it be if Francis were traded for T-Mac AGAIN!

Well, with Isiah, you never know. He traded Tim Thomas for KVH for a second time. At least I THINK?

I would have said trade Marbury for T-Mac 2 months ago, but those back problems are scarring the crap out of me now, and at this point, I'd like to have T Mac just as much as I want K Mart. Meaning, stay the hell away.

It's hard to say. He's had back problems in previous years and he recovered from them. Maybe he can again this time. Maybe he needs the offseason to recover and possibly to have surgery. He's such a great player that it would be really hard to turn down a Marbury/T-Mac trade when we already have one player who can do most of what Marbury does anyway. And it's not like we're gonna get a lot in some other deal for Marbury.

LMAO @ this thread.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

You want to trade one WNBA player for another? Why not trade for one that plays 82 games, or however many games they play in the WNBA, give me that cute blond PG from the Liberty. At least there will be a slight reason to watch the games.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

i thought t-mac wanted out of houston during the all-star break. plus t-mac being injury prone is the perfect fit in new york.

there's only one catch: t-mac in the tri-state area might elevate carter's game.....nice market
