per quentin soundbite on espnradio (paraphrased):

eddy's just figuring out how good he can become. coach has been on him all season to get in shape and play hard and quentin will take it upon himself to get on eddy this summer and work out with him to help him reach the potential.

I wonder how receptive he will be to it. They played together before in Chicago. EC never liked Q because Q dogged him for not working hard. Q essentially said everything came too easy to Eddie and I took it on myself to push him because nobody else was.

I like Q also and he plays like he cares. The sad thing is that the two guys that really have the right attitude in Malik and Q are low on the impact totem pole.

While I agree that Malik is a low on the impact totem pole, Q1 is definately not in that level in my humble opinion. He seems to be an LB type player.

If Q can continue to get healthy this Summer, maybe that can change. I've seen some really good things from Q the past 5 or so weeks. He's definitely getting his legs back though. He's driving a little more and he's dunking a lot more lately and he's getting up. Hopefully this will be a real good sign for next season.

I think Q ranks a little higer than Malik on the totem pole, IMO. He can be a GREAT starting 2 guard to compliment Francis, IMHO if his stuff is right. Thing is I think that this team can really rally behind Q as opposed to KT because KT for all his hustle was only Malik Rose with size. Q has the skills and potential to be alot more than that.

Q1 and Malik are EXACTLY the kind of role players the Kincks need. Q can defend, rebound and score. Malik defnds and bounds...nicely. More importantly both are leaders! This is finally showing itslef. LB has found 2 of his guys. I bet Lee and Frye are 2 others. Now, as I said, you need Curry to step up. If Q can get through to him, Curry, Francis and Marbury can carry the offensive load.

But do you really rank Malik and Q on the same playing field? I mean I try not to overrate players but Q can do alot more than Malik...I mean I seriously don't think Malik will keep putting up these double doubles...Q has the potential to avg 15+ and 5+ and good defense, maybe a little post presence and some major cajones.

Malik's exactly what this team needs... as long as he's waiving that towel & sitting on the bench... otherwise, he's taking minutes away from David Lee, who should be getting as much burn as possible right now.

i agree w/all of u on Q... i hope he kicks Eddy's butt during the offseason to teach him to stop being so lazy & to start working hard to improve his game... we don't need any soft, out of shape players on this team.

i think q-rich is finally gettin some love from us knicks fans...and im glad hes playing better with all the things that he went through the beginning of this season and how even though our seasons pretty much over, hes still going out there and busting his ass trying to defend and stuff

Can we take Q seriously at this point? 35% from 3 on wide open jumpers and then blaming his PG does not make me feel confident in his resolve or abilities.

you gotta be kidding me. If Marbury had the kind of year QRIch was having...
Everytime any other Knick starts to do well it's like he's miles ahead of Marbs. Remeber all the JCraw is a better point, scorer,, etc than Marbury every 4 games when he wouldn't shoot 2/50. Never changes with you guys.

to an extent, i sometimes do take steph for granted. but my man makes 2-3X more than the people you mentioned. he's held to a different standard. but i never said anything bad about steph's play. it was the leadership and clubhouse presence that irks me.

Wow man now q has some fans all of a sudden?

Q-rich is back. He's hanging in the air, running the floor and just putting the rock in the hole. I just think the dude is just in shape. He's definately slimmed down.

Well I lost faith in him but he has truly come back now and is playing the way he should have at the begining. Brandy messed him up man, then his brother.

Now what? Craw seems to be the odd man out.
