It was amazing to see Kirby in his playing days to what he looked like recently in appearnaces. Like the rest of you have said, if that doesn't teach you to take care of your body then nothing will. Dying at 44 from a stroke is WAY to young.

according to Chris Rock Prince is now the only black guy in Minnesota.

Thats bad news out there... good message from you guys though. KP was a diabetic and let his weight get out of control. Some things in life you can control, others you cant. I had cancer when I was 19. Now its all about the exercise, diet, being healthy. Life's short. Take care of what you go

I loved watching Kirby Puckett play. He was like the Nate Robinson of baseball.

Good messages about the shortness and preciousness of life. I'm 51 and in the last 4 years I've spoken at the funerals of 3 of my closest friends. 2 cancers and a heart attack. Plus I got a 4th who's on dialysis 3 times a week, and can't get on a list for a kidney transplant because he already had one that failed. Believe me there are a lot of times when I think well wtf I guess I'm next.

So you do what you can to protect your health but I also think you don't count on anything past today. And you sure as s**t aqueeze the gusto and glory out of everything you can while you're here. Each and every day. Ask Fish and Briggs if they endorse that approach.

Peace out and a GREAT day to each and every one of you.

I buried two of my best buddies before they turned 40!

Nothing worse then looking into his two sons eyes at the funeral whom the same ages as my children.

I have had a few experiences too where I faced my mortality and did not know the outcome but what was funny was the peaceful feeling at the time my body was fighting. It helped, but it was weird.

I used to love my work before that, but since can't muster the intensity.

Knicks suck.
