No one mentions Indiana but he could make them an elite team again.

Marbury for

Croshere (expiring contract)
Jamaal Tinsley and
Fred Jones (sign and trade)?

I'd love to get Stephen Jackson instead of either Tinsley or Jones but I don't think Indiana would do that. I'd also love to get a draft pick and/or David Harrison but I don't think Marbury has enough value to get that thrown into the package.

i highly doubt they'd be interested in Marbury... Francis probably has a better shot of interesting them imho.

Carlisle, and for that matter Bird, would never put up with Marbs crap.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Bird will never do business with Isiah.

Marbury to Minny
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

yeah, you could sell it REAL well. they re-sign vlad rad starting at $6 mil. that gives steph a jumpshooter in vlad rad, an all star PF in brand, and kaman at center. it's a good match.

^ Why would they want Marbury?

I'd rather resign Cassell for a few years and keep Maggette.

Not a bad idea, don't know if Indiana would bite the bullet on Steph though.

What about Stephon Marbury, David Lee, cash and our #1 San Antonio pick to Utah for Carlos Boozer, Deron Williams and their #1 Pick (Lottery Unprotected)?

I think steve Francis fits that team better. Indiana is a gritty, scrapy team. Marbs doesn't play scrapy. Francis is all about making more than one thing happen at a frantic pace.

With that said, I don't want anything Indiana has. I think woods can be a more athletic Stephan jax. Knicks don't need Harrison with butler here. Fred Jones is an explosive player but I'd rather keep Francis than trade for him. Tinsley is one of my favorite players. I remember him from tilden days. I went to high school right by tilden and I played with him at a park around there. Dude was just a nasty ball handler but couldn't shoot. As far as now...the knicks can't afford to gamble on his health.

Fuck Indiana anyway. Dolan should ban anyone from dealing with that team. The history is too deep man.

To expand on your Indiana deal, What about Steve Francis and David Lee for Jamaal Tinsley, Danny Granger, and Austin Croshere?

I sort of Like he Utah deal, but instead of Boozer give me Kirilinko, Deron, and a top 5 protected pick for the same deal.

the only players from IND i would be interested in are JO & Granger, who we can't get even if we wanted to.

this post should be - would any team want Marbury?

I think his value now is at an all time low.

All the diva things have just been amplified in NYC by the media so if a GM ever worried about Marbury, he doesn't have to- he now knows Marbury is a diva and team cancer.

Now- perhaps we could take back some ugly contracts out there- Boozer, Ratliff, etc.

I like this deal for both teams, I like marbury and I like Maggette. Since we have francis marbury can be moved. Did anyone else hear that maggette was dumb? Didn't he go to Duke?
