the guy averaged in double figures as a Knick... there's tons of other scrubs that were alot worse than Charles Smith throughout Knicks' history.

I don't hate anyone who barely got any playing time as a knick so that excludes longely and knight. Might be able to make an argument for James though since we're stuck with him for 5yrs. But I guarantee you if we didn't have Curry he would at least give us 16 tough minutes every night.

Eisely, Shandon were awfuland only played a ton of minutes because Layden essentially traded Ewing for them. It was awful having to endure watching those two for 25-35mins a night!

Another good one would be Felton Spencer. He made Knight look good.

Antonio McDyess (ok, fine, blame his injury, but still, he was a major bust regardless)

I voted Anderson.every time he was on the floor me messed up...dribble off his foot...defense was supposed to be his strong suit but that was only because he turned the ball over so much that was all we played when he was in...

A couple of people beat me to it, but I was going to throw Bo Kimble's name out there. He was on that weird Loyola Marymount team coached by Paul Westhead that wouldn't play D and would win 130-120 games and his teammate Hank Gaithers, an NBA prospect, tragically died on the court. Kimble was a high first-round pick by the Paper Clips and was another one of their many first-round busts. I don't know why Kimble bombed in the NBA, but he was a big, strong guard that may have not been quick enough to get off his shot or blow by anyone. I can't remember how the Knicks got him from the Paper Clips, but I think he was a throw in in the Charles Smith deal. The Clips forced the Knicks to take him and he couldn't get off the bench after he arrived.

Marvin "The Human Eraser" Webster was also a huge bust. I think he was a free-agent signing from Seattle. Much like a latter center from Seattle that is turning out to be a stiff (Jerome James) Webster was the starting center on the Seattle team. That Sonics unit went to the finals I believe. The Knicks signed him and he never did much, but if memory serves me correctly he was oft-injured and had bad knees. Seattle didn't seem to miss him much, a bad omen, because the very next year they went back to the finals again without him.
