Who was the worst player to ever wear a knick uniform???? im excluding players like Greg Anderson who wereonly here a year or so... trying to stick with players that had somewhat of a role in the rotation.......... For me its by far Jerome james even tho Shandon Anderson is a close 2nd.. god he was ****in AWFUL

it has to be longley. you may hate JJ and how much he is getting paid, but that has nothing to do with his playing which is by far better than what longley was able to give us.

Chris Dudley for me.. teams use to double-team someone else and just forget about Dudley on the offensive end..

Shandon, Eisley were good payers. They grow in legend thru the years, but they were legitimate NBA talents. As Solace said, just over compensated.

THough never really a knick, Freddie Weis has to rank.

So bad, he never even wore the uni!

Solace and Nalod: Under the impression that salary has to be taken into account, who would you rate as the worst? Because the owner/GM (good or bad) depended on the salaries to structure their team.

We have a long history of overpaying players. Either by salary or by overpaying by trade.

I might have to think that Marbs is one of the worst if you based it on:

He is a captain and (according to reports) his teammates hate him! Not one player likes him! (SAS).
He has a max contract.
He (was) the face of the franchise.
We took pennys contract to get him.
He was Isiahs poster boy and makes him look bad.

Dollar for dollar, Marbs has not added wins, and has been a disaster.

He has a world of talent, but does not have a clue on how to best use it.

Dudley would look like an Allstar right now compared to how Jerome James has played this year.

dudley actually contributed to our finals run u cant concider him he played well for us in 99 skill wise maybe but not productivity wise........... i dont know how i forgot Charles Smith tho!!

Bob Thornton. He was useless and on the team for a few years. Kinda like Greg Butler but at least he was a fan favorite.
