back when we had isley van horn and the rest of the scrubs before isiah came in... it got to the point where i was really loosing interest in the knicks and i had been a DIE HARD fan forever.... but i saw no hope and no fun in those players at all... this year i still have prolly only missed like 5 games and that was out of my control.... and im still planning on watching tonight's meaningless game just for the soap opera of it all and hey these players are still entertaining... at least.. i guess.

Ever drive along the highway and see countless police cars with cherry beams beaming and the flairs lining the streets. Then all of a sudden you slow down, alomst to a crawl and for some reason you can't take your eyes off the wreckage in the street. See the correlation..................

But seriously, I understand what your saying.........

i thought the best team & most fun to watch was when Isiah just came in & made the trade for Marbury... KVH & Doleac were still here & the team was clicking... then he made the trade for Tim Thomas & it all went downhill from there imo.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

That's exactly what this is except this isn't your ordinary traffic accident, this is a 30 car pileup that gets national attention as opposed to just local news status.

As far as I've seen the team is mostly unwatchable last year. They were VERY unwatchable last year, as well. I watch from time to time, but not with near the frequency.

I think the personality and watching a team where 3/4 of the team doesn't try makes me not want to watch. The Layden teams fought hard. This team doesn't.

I agree the Layden teams hit an unwatchable point. I contend that this team has done the same.

I agree Elite. With Layden, there was no light at the end of the tunnel. There was absolutely no hope. The team had no talent and a crappy coach. With Isiah, plenty of hope. Even if thats all it is, its enough to want to watch the game and hope.

I think this game didn't bother us because we're not going anywhere and have given up this season. With good cause.

Imagine how we'd feel if the season meant something and we gave away a game like this after a huge 2nd-half lead.
