was saying the whole team hates Steph.

His report was funny as hell. He really pounded that "not one player likes him" and "Qrich would not leave the practice facility unless he got a pieceo of him and his sister had to call him and tell him to leave".

Steph gets hate on these parts but what really counts is his team.

What is this guys persona that makes him so unlikable? What we see on TV can't be the whole story. Anyone sit close enough to see game and what is going on?

And can we ever ever got to war where trust is the key ingrediant to a championship team where the point is disliked?

Even Isiah, who was not mr. lovable in his day was at least tolerated and respected as the leader of the team.

I've been wondering that too. He usually plays unselfishly on offense. He doesn't take that many shots and usually tries to get others involved. If you watched last night's game, you would *never* guess there were any problems between him and teammates just based on what goes on on the court.

It's interesting to guess. I think it's the rolling the eyes, bad body language toward teammates when they make a mistake. I think players feel dissed, shown up. Rick Barry used to do this, and he was quite possibly the most hated guy ever in the league.

I always though Crawford was friends with Steph. David Lee and Steph seem to have a decent relationship too.

Based off some comments to the media, I get this vibe that Steph does not choose his words judiciously. I feel like he's the type to flat out tell someone he thinks they suck.

Reports like this make me watch the game closely to see if I can notice any subtlety to his interaction with guys. I'll say this much, I saw him and Q-Rich acknowlege each other for the first time tonight. He gave Q pounds after Q made a good play.

I bet his teammates will like him better when we start to win. The team does not have to be in love with itself.

In the game last night against Memphis, I thought the body language toward Steph was pretty good. Now I'm really going to play close attention when we play the Bulls next.

There was one play where a frontcourt player (I can't remember who) forgot to rotate and Steph yelled at him and pointed to his (Steph's) head (as if to say "use your head"). Being singled out like that live would probably annoy a lot of players.

that was Malik Rose... funny for Steph to be calling out teammates for failing to rotate on help D, when he's the guy who's regularly being beat on backdoor cuts, off the dribble, & underneath screens leaving his man wide open to force that rotation in the first place.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Steph had extra bounce in his step on the layup line. In fact, he could be seen giving a pound to everyone on the team as he skipped to the end of the line.

As far as him ripping on his teammates, well, he cerainly wasn't wrong for Calling Q out. He's been garbage, no way around that.

Kobe, Jordan, & Rick Barry were notirious for calling out there teammates and were hated in the locker room. Unfortunately for Steph, he isn't on that hall of fame level like those guys.

it wasn't that he failed to rotate, it was b/c malik picked up a foul and he said "save your fouls" or something like that while pointing to his head.

great game for steph...too bad he needed a meeting from jim dolan to wake up.

Don't know exactly what type of player Barry was but Kobe and Jordan played 48 minutes on both ends... and that's the biggest difference.

the people who make not like steph, are the people who are stinking up the place anyway.

G Francis G-Marbury
F-Lee
F-Frye
C-Butler
G-Woods

Curry is the ? mark-- if i could get a team to give me a nice package
and to me it would be GS targeting Biendrins and their draft pick--it's a no-brainer to move him. If we get rid of Curry, bring in Biendrins and draft a Noah, Boone, Armstrong, one of those guys who can move up and down with length and athletiscm, it would benefit. Anything that opens up our floor, brings in length and speed is what I am after.

but it is everywhere he goes. people do not like him in minny, phoenix and nj. that is a problem. jordan, kobe and barry could do what they want because they have the game to back it up. i think when marbury does the same thing they are saying " who does this guy think he is?"

You would think that Frye, Lee & Robinson would be in Steph's corner. After all, Steph took the three of 'em out before the season and bought each 10 Joseph Abboud suits.

From Tuesday's "New York Times": As Brown gave instructions before the second half, Marbury was seen on television, standing behind Marbury, yawning and looking up at the scoreboard."

And how about the routine where Steph puts the towel on his head when he leaves the court or when he sits on the bench. What is up with that?
