I would do a Spree, Ward, and Knight for a re-signed Bonzi and Damon trade. Damon is the point we're looking for and Bonzi is pretty much a younger version of Spree. I'm not sure what kind of package they'd be looking for, probably one talented player (Spree) and a few expiring contracts, but I'd do that. Wells would do real well on a team where he was one of the top 3 options (McDyess, Houston, him) instead of Portland where he often times came off the bench.

Bonzi and Damon would be good grabs - lets face it, this team is going to look a lot different this year or the year after (it already does but more so in the future) so a trade with P-town is a god thing. But I am more concerned with getting a new face to fill the sweet 5 spot. We need a big man in this town - unfortunately the NBA is running low on legit big bangers.

I can ee Damon comming to Ny. But I dont think Bonzi would be packaged. Bonzi is young and he doesnt resign till a few years. he could be traded for Wally Szerbiak, which make more sense for the Blazer. I dont think they want old players in return for Bonzi. Blazers really want expiring contracts if anything to start over. Within the next 2 years like 50mil will be dropping off their payroll with Pippen (15mil), Kemp (20mil), Stoud (15). So it wouldnt make sense to trade unless they can get out of a contract sooner. I think Blazers want to start over. Their team has bad chemistry, time to go back to the drawing board.

actually stoudamire still has 3 years remaining on his contract. what do you mean by "Bonzi is young and he doesnt resign till a few years"? I would welcome the spree/ward/knight-bonzi/stoudamire but i am a little bit eery of stoudamire's selfishness and inability to play defense.
