Read part about what Larry wants:

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/01/sports/basketball/01knicks.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

trade Jalen's contract to Lakers for Odom and Aaron McKie (his salary would allow Odom for Jalen to work under the cap - Lakers will have $30 million in payroll after the season and could sign one or two great free agents)

trade Taylor's contract to Nuggets for K-Mart (removing his big contract allows them to re-sign Nene and Carmelo Anthony and possibly avoid paying the luxury tax)

sign Claxton with the MLE

3 PGs – Marbury, Francis, and Claxton
Athletic wing players – Odom, Richardson, and Crawford (he needs to learn how to guard though)
Stabilzing vets – Malik and McKie
4 bigs – Curry, Frye, (those two need to play better D though) K-Mart, and Hilton Armstrong (UConn senior center – great at blocking shots, rebounding, running the floor and can also play some D, score a little in the post and has a decent jumper) with the Nuggets pick (use both picks to trade up if necessary)?
Robinson (yay!!!), Lee (yay!!!), and James (boo!!!) could fill out the roster.

good idea, but id still wanna get rid of one of these guards, we have too many of em, i think we should get rid of crawford...well not get rid but get something back in return.

I like that.

the only thing that worries me is that bringing a player like K-Mart will slow down Lee's and Frye growth.

and if your bringing in another guard...Crawford or Robinson need to go

I don't disagree with any of the moves. Hopefully the Nugs and Lakes wont disagree either.

We'd still need to move one these guards. Francis, Marbury and Calxton are very small guards in terms or guarding a legit (6-6) guard on the opposition. Plus Francis nullifies Craws worth so, he'd probably be the odd man out. Problem is, who would take him?
"Man, who knows with this team." Aguirre.
