Steph is playing great he is very unselfish....Jamal Crawford is the best shooting guard I have had since Reggie....Frye is going to be better than Garnett....Quentin Richardson has played great for us he has just been injured...Curry reminds me of Shaq....Nate Robinson is god....What do ya want Larry Brown to say?

Nate is a sideshow

Ariza is delusional

"These are not the guys I expected to be here"

Marbury is not being aggressive

Jamal is tentative

Frye and Lee are inexperienced

The starting lineups are a revolving door af random combinations based on factors that include a players hometown above all things. Has an NBA coach EVER done that in the regular season in the history of the league?

I've tried to think of some positive words to spin because I'm a positive kinda guy, but

For the life of me, I can't seem to identify a couterpoint, a memorable phrase, a positive statement or a rallying cry, a positive reinforcement towards a Knicks player, or a unit... a particular shift ... since the pre-season

Can I get some help?

Just one.

Just curious.

He did however manage to unite the team against him.....

holfresh - good point

I think Brown, other than his years with the Clippers, has no previous experience with a situation similar to the Knicks.

His empathetic understanding of what his current players are internalizing during the game is severely limited by the time it takes for him to flash back to the ABA and visualize the feelings of Larry Kenon or Doug Moe.

It's a new day.

Larry Brown's gut feelings are closer to those that Ray Charles might have listening to Kanye West bootleg version of "I've Got A Woman" for the first time. He's stuck between paradigm shifts from Henry Bibby to Mike Bibby.

He's stuck in The Phantom Zone.

With the Pistons he was afforded the luxury of Joe Dumars' head start. With the Knicks, he enters two years into Isiah's Extreme Garden Makeover in the uncomfortable position of consulting with the interior decorators and not the architects.

SAS said the meeting between Dolan, Brown, and Isiah was so that Dolan could ask Brown for his $50 mil back! I got a kick out of that one!

one thing i will say is that i find alot of people get too attached to some of the players. it's nice to have favorites and everything but when the team is a perennial loser (as we have been for 5 years running), then nobody is safe. names change. faces change. but the uniform is the same. i just want this team to start changing for the better and get back on the right track. there would be some trades that would just make you scratch your head, like if they moved frye. but other guys like nate, qyntel, etc. - although i may be fans of theirs, i also know that they are replaceable.

getting back to the post, has lb done anything to make THIS particular unit cohesive? i would say no. but i'll ask this, have many of these players ever been a part of a cohesive unit before? (sans the rooks) maybe the players just can't function as one for a long period of time. maybe they can but it would not be condusive of building towards a legitimate championship contender? who knows? all i know is that lb is here and he's been right more than not, so let's see what he can do.
