If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

we're pretty screwed and all our hope is in the hands of frye and curry. one is a rook, the other has red flags galore. and i don't even know if lb is going to be around for it.

His numbers also coincide with Marbury's injury. When Marbury was out, there was no one penetrating and dishing to him. Craw is clueless running the point.
Also, eversince LB called him in the philly game, he hasn't been the same either. He scored 27, I believe, on Orlando, then struggled aganist Philly in the next game. Then LB called him. That one of my biggest problems with Brown, he never appreciates what he has and over values what someone else has.

To say Curry has no work ethic is unfair. All we have to go by are what we see on the court. And I see a player that has lost at least 20-30 lbs since October.
I also know that he has hired a personal dietician to prepare his meals.
The only problem with the Curry trade is that Isiah didn't protect the pick at least in the top five. All GM's in this league protect thier picks. But Isiah felt a need to outbid himself. Don't tell me trading Sweetney (who can't even get off the bench on a team that has zero production in the paint) and Tim thomas who is chillin in Jersey, was a bad trade.
If the pick was protected like it should have been, this isn't even a discussion.

Isiah took a chance on Curry. To me, it's not his worst move. We really needed a center.
what was jerome james?
As bad as Curry seems to be, he's better than Jerome James. Surely we can all agree on that? Is he worth what we gave up for him? Absolutely not, but Jerome James sure wasn't the answer.

Also, I see posts about the players we're disappointed in but, individually, none of them has as much influence on this team's success or lack thereof as Dolan, Isiah and Brown.

His problem is they don't get him the ball much (6 shots a game in last 5 games). Why did they bring him in if they won't get him shots? Yeah he's foul prone and doesn't have many post moves but that shouldn't effect his shot attempts. He's been working with Aguirre and Herb, he should have post moves and have developed a short jumper by now. He could be a very good center but they have to allow him to grow and he has to want to. He has deficiencies but I'd give it to him 15 or more times a game anyway!!

He's probably slowed down quite a bit because he has a WEAKER HEART than everyone else. Remember why the Bulls traded him? Because the man has heart problems, literally and figuratively. He's a loser, you'll never get anything more than 15 and 5 out of Eddy Curry for an entire season.

He doesn't get the ball a lot b/c he doesn't grab a lot of offensive boards and doesn't work hard to get position. Also, it's hard to trust him if he's gonna get an offensive foul 1 out of every 3 times.

when our backcourt consisted of Charlie Ward, Howard Eisley, Shandon Anderson & an injured Allan Houston, i think anyone on this board would've signed up to replace them w/Marbury, Francis, Jalen & Q Rich... it's ironic how much of a mess things have really become.
