use the Nuggets pick on UCONN C Hilton Armstrong (10pts 7 rebs 3blks) and the Spurs pick on UCONN PG Marcus Williams (10pts 8 asts 4 rebs)

trade Jalen's contract to Denver for K-Mart

trade Taylor's contract, Robinson, Lee, and $3 million to Atlanta for Harrington

sign Claxton with the MLE

split the LLE between Woods and Butler

Curry/Armstrong/James
Martin/Frye/Butler
Harrington/Richardson/Malik
Francis/Crawford/Woods
Marbury/Claxton/Williams

I doubt Armstrong is there with the 20th pick. And I doubt Williams will there at pick 29.

As much as I would love to KG or J' oneal, I think Kmart will probably be more realistic even though his knees scare me off.

Also, either Francis or Marbury has to go, preferably Marbury (for team chemistry issues).

I like the picks thats exactly where I would go, but i wouldn't go after claxton in the offseason; and I think thats a lot to give up for another guy, Harrington that doesn't play defense..... We don't need to use the midlevel because we just don't have the room.....

Marcus Williams is exactly what we need off the bench, poise, scoring and good decision making....I think both those players will be there, Armstrong is very frail and is a lot like Sammy coming out of Seton Hall he isn't going to play right away

NBADrat.net has Armstrong going the pick after NYK's Nuggets pick and WIlliams going in early second round. Harrington is no stopper but is underrated defensively. You gotta give to get, the Hawks should be willing to make that deal. NYK will use the MLE, targets are Mike James, Claxton, or Reggie Evans - been reported by NY Post and some other papers too if I remember right. Williams would be an extra/inactive guy that would be good on the rare occassions he plays. Armstrong would be the shot blocker the team needs and get the backup big man minutes Frye doesn't get. I'd rather have KG or JO than K-Mart too. But we'd have to give up Frye, who should be untouchable. The chances of getting back guys just as good or better if Marbs and/or Franchise are traded is slim and none, so it's better to keep them. Nobody was complaining about this team's chemistry when it was actually winning, so the chemistry issues are ridiculously overrated.

how about trading up for a shooter, such as Redick. This team really needs a guy who stretch the defense and Redick has the type of attitude that could be good to add here.

The brief 6 game winning streak when the team was healthy, had a set rotation, and actually listening to the coach.

Chemistry is not overrated espiecially when you consider Marbury has not only lost everywhere he has gone, but has been a cancer in every locker room. Every teammate he has left behind, for the most part, says the team is better off.

The fact that the teams he leaves behind is a further indictment. And get this, I've been a Marbury fan since Lincoln HS. But you can't deny these facts.
