We all agree that in a "normal" business Isiah would be fired. But what about any "normal" sports franchise? Any other owner in sports would have sent Isiah packing already. Dolan is such a moron and is so clueless, it's beyond belief.

Someone needs to get a newspaper, clip the NBA standings and highlight the Knicks. Then print out this link (http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries/new_york.htm) and highlight the figure "$123,337,515" that is at the bottom of the second column. Then print out the rules on the dollar-for-dollar luxury tax that an owner must pay on a payroll that exceeds around $62 million.

Then find Dolan's mailing address, and send these items to him. (Don't use e-mail, because I get the feeling he does not know how to use it.)

I just do not think this guy has any concept at all of the ludicrous situation his team is in.

the more long-term contacts we have, the less flexibility we have in terms of moving unwanted pieces. if we continue at this pace, we will have a team full of 3-6 year major contract players and well be stuck. Its a revolving door right now of unwanteds.
