if the pistons don't win a title, and with ben wallace as a free agent, how much do you think the pistons are willing to invest in him. he is 32 and i think the pistons are looking to give him a 4 year $40 mil deal. now, again, if the pistons don't win the title, do you think dumars would be open to moving in a different direction?

what i propose is eddy curry + a #1 for ben wallace in a sign and trade 5 years $55 mil.

that's alot of money for detroit to pony up and they have to re-sign chauncy and get some bench players.

is this feasible? or is this lsd induced?

would love to have ben wallace. will the pistons let him go even if they dont win? no. would the pistons consider curry a good replacement? no.

i mean, you guys understand the rationale of this post. do you think the pistons would invest over $50+ mil on a 32 year old, even if it is ben wallace? grant hill wanted out and he was as superstar. if we really do a massive sell job on ben, and pump him up to the tune of even 6 years $60, he may start demanding more from joe.

now 6 years, $60 for a 32 year old guy like ben is alot, even for us. but hell man, if we're throwing out $$$'s like nobody's business then why not for a defensive center/pf that is EXACTLY what we need?

ANYTHING HAS GOT TO BE BETTER THAN THIS!

Take two "phuchitalls" and sleep on it. You'll feel better.

Ben next to Curry would add value to Curry.

We need to think how do we combo our players to make them better, create chemistry.

Franchise aint it. That I know.

As fans we tend to isolate each cicumstance and magnify it.

The Pistons will pay Ben Wallace more than 4 years, $40 MM. They have a winning team and they will pay to keep it together.
