we are discussing getting kg but the chances of getting him is nada ( personally i see him going to the lakers or new jersey which would really make my sports decade). i think isaih though is looking more at jermaine o'neal which is no suprise. BUT if possible could we get elton brand from the clippers? i know this year it seems like an impossibility but hear me out. the clippers are another money organization who always think star power but also cutting ends. brand is good but severely underrated and you do not hear him as the person that sells tickets. they realize that. they must realize that as far as championship, this team, though they will make the playoffs, is still far away from making such a goal with the many teams that are better in the west. if they got, say marbury and frye with our draft picks, that would cause them to think about it. i would do it in a heartbeat and it is more realistic than kg which would be a rat race this summer.

i like jermaine....but he is injury prone....i'd rather have jermaine than elton and i dont think garnett is the main targett it probably is jermaine o'neal....him and isiah were like best buddies when zeke was coaching him

The Pacers have no use for Marbury. Anothony Johnson is playing well and they have Tinsley. Why would they take on Marbury's contract over 17 mil a year when they can pay Anothony Johnson at 2 mil a year? Anothony plays defense, can score and is liked by his teammates. With Marbury the Pacers would be taking on a big contract and there is no guarantee that the Pacers will be a winning team or in a better situation.

There's a small chance that we will be able to get Jermain Oneal, since he is so highly paid and injury prone, if we give up every asset we have left, but it wont really help us in the long run, if larry keeps coaching the way he has been, getting JO may not even give any many more wins. also if such a trade happens I will become the biggest Isiah Thomas hater that anyone has ever seen, and will do everything in my power to make sure that he goes down hard.

i dont understand why we cant just keep our young guys who are getting paid next to nothing compared to all the ridiculously overpaid guys on our team. cant we just do what we can to rid ourselves of some of these guys? i want to be able to have a damn jersey (i own a frye jersey) i can wear for more than 1 yr without the guy being traded.

Did I miss something, or does Larry Bird still work for that Pacers? One of the biggest reasons we are not supposed to get any Pacers is that Larry will not trade with Isiah...On this board it was the MAIN reason we weren't gonna get Artest, now he is gonna trade us Jermaine?
BTW, If we don't have to give up Frye, I am all for getting Jermaine over KG. Jermaine's injury history sucks though, so it is a gamble but he is 2 years younger than Garnett.
