I love how the Knicks pushed the ball. Marbury was off to a great start, lot of different guys got involved, and oh yea. We gave up 71 first half points.

i was kind of thinking that too. i understand that defensively we are inept. but looking at our roster, we should be scoring a lot more. we have a lot of offensive talent. i don't know why larry does not come up with simple plays to cut the turnovers and take advantage of what we have. we have TWO penetrating point guards, a back to the basket center who plays in the paint well, a nice jumpshooting pf, a small forward who can create shots for himself and others, and an athletic sg who when focused can be good. there is no reason why we should not match at least point by point with our competition, especially the wizards. man, i am tired of excuses. larry is simply not doing a good job. you want ratings, he gets a D-. no way he gets an imcomplete. stick with a lineup and establish the roles. that is the coaches job period!

The main problem was Arenas was scoring at will. You would think that Larry would put someone else or double Arenas or try a zone since Arenas was going off. Why did Larry keep Marbury on Arenas? again?

I'm not sure why so many people dismiss the 6-game winning streak. We still may not have been playing "the right way' as far as D goes, but our O and overall intensity level made up for it.

If indeed, as many of us claim here, the devil is in the details, then if I were the GM, I'd be having video sessions with Larry where we discover exactly what was working in his utilization of the roster at that time (we've all been over it plenty of times, so I won't go over it again, including the need to replicate AD's excellent interior work ) and work with him to get him back onto that program. And if Marbs is too hurt to reprise his role or Craw is too bent for his, you should be able to plug in those fantastic economical additions Jalen and Stevie to do the job

well, that is the problem. a year ago, curry at this time killed teams in the paint. i remember he and gordon made our team look like fools last year. he is talented but that talent for some reason has been dormant for most of the season except a few occasions. we sacrificed our future for this kid. larry better make him produce.

That 6-game winning streak seems like it happened 10 seasons ago. Now we have great defenders in Rose and Francis to pick up the defense like we played it on that streak.

This is just a mess. I don't see any way in which the Knicks could recover from this. Its just like ther lose the game even before it starts. They don't want to be a team. This is just a bunch of talented players that don't care about maximizing those talents and taking their games to the next level. The only semi-good thing we had is now injured, so thats the story of the season. We have all the wrong pieces for the wrong coach...
