if he thinks Curry is a once every 20 year player, and he gave up 4 draft picks an ending contract + Sweetney 2 draft picks likely top 5, then he is out of his gord, if he believes you need a jamal crawford to go to a championship hes out of his gord. we need someone who has the smarts and the cahones to admit curry is a mistake and get as many solid assets as we can for him. we need a full-scale change again, because this is a team that has no heart. You havemaximum players all over the roster--do they want to still call it ebuilding? Marbury and Francis will both be in their 30s next year--is that rebuilding--no we cant blow it up, but the main acquisitions like curry crawfors marbury etc.. have to go--they need someone with a sense of what they want to do, and they have to let larry know and if he does it like it hes in breach of his contract.

no one in the league would ever take Curry, even if there was no heart issue.

we need to hire Kiki.

I would pay some good money to get tapes of Curry's and Crawford's games 1 year before they became Knicks and see what Isiah was seeing. Both of these guys are his prize possesions and they both SUCK.

you can trade some of these players BUT since we overpaid for most of them, whatever we get in return will be doo doo in comparison. but at this point, we need to find teams that want big names for no names and put together a blue collar crew.

jalen rose and steve francis are all a DIRECT RESULT of not having any protection on that pick. if we had our pick or at least top 5 protection, we would go into tank mode, i guarantee it. but we HAD to get a #1 for jalen to save a little face. then we HAD to go get francis so we can win some games since our pick means jack.

this is the WORST season i have ever witnissed as a knicks fan.

Worse, he said that Curry was a once every twenty year talent and that to go to a finals you need a jamal crawford.

I do think that Curry can have solid value-in fact I think we can get a nice package for him

DJ: agreed. worst season I've ever seen. having no lotto pick will do that to you.

Rich: part of me wonders if Brown is trying to get Zeke fired so he can get full control of the roster.

I wonder if the plan should be to give Brown control on the roster and bring in a younger coach who is less grating and more passionate and less sarcastic.

crzy - lb is letting isiah dig his own grave. he knows he's gonna have full control in a little bit, he's just waiting for the season to be done. lb knows who he wants to keep around and who he wants to get rid of. it's just a matter of time at this point.

they are VERY lucky they went on the road for a few games b/c the fire isiah chants would be raining down HARD at the garden tonight...

If I ws Isiah right now, Id be man enough to step down--save some face--it didn't workout. Sometimes jobs don't workout--you have to look yourself in the mirror and say these guys paid me well, and I didnt get it done, for whatever reason it s not working out. Sometimes you take one for the team, regroup and find something else. Isiah is a big name in sports, he can find something after a bit of time away--perhaps as a head coach. he's a money man--he knows how to make it, he has it in the nBA, so he'll land right back on his feet-but hes done here. Now does he have the manhood and guts to s tep down?

isiah should step down and take the indiana coaching job. his salesman skills will help in the recruiting department and he always said he wanted to coach again. the position is open and he can really save face by taking it.

You know if you replaced Isiah's name with Brown in the last paragraph, it would work as well?

you could say that for pretty much the entire organization. but this mess is Isiah's fault. don't try to blame anyone else.

cryz im with you. The ownership may need to go into negotiations to terminate everyone excpet scouts working on the draft--go into consultations with the nBA

bring in someone who just does the cap and we work within a cap frame of 70-75mm$ and someone who has solid NBA experience who can put a team together.

Im thinking Donnie Nelson as GM, RC Buford as President of Operations.
