I thought this really deserved its own thread. I was really hoping Mo T and Malik were playing ahead of him only because they were being showcased for trades but the fact that they're still playing ahead of him leaves me completely perplexed. Larry is playing Frye and was playing Nate a decent # of minutes. Is there something we don't know about Lee? Could Larry really believe the future of the team is better if Lee gets DNP-CDs while Mo and Malik (especially Malik) play.

Nate was inactive tonight. He needs to play over Crawford and Lee needs to play over Taylor.

WHAT? Are you not paying attention? THIS YEAR IS OVER!!!! How about playing Lee so that he can be of more use to us next year. He's already as good as Rose overall his production for 40 mins would eclipse what Rose does. I can't imagine how anyone could think that he's not a better choice than Rose. LB just has a blind spot for Vets. If fact in terms of what this team needs i'd rather see Lee in there instead of Mo as well. Lee does the little things that we miss on the floor. He's bigger and more athletic than Rose. I think Rose at this point is a stronger defender, but not by much. Lee can PLAY!

And I don't buy the idea that salary is dictating Lee's and Malik's playing time. JJ is sitting and owed more than either of them. Frye is starting and earning a tiny fraction of what Malik and Mo are. Further, Lee (or his draft pick) was part of the same deal as Malik. And Isiah probably took back Malik's salary primarily to get Lee and SA's 2006 #1, meaning he values both Lee and SA 2006 #1 more than he values Malik.

what about something silly like Nate, Craw and JJ for Ray Allen?

Ray can hit the outside shot, and with franchise and jrose, we don't need either crawford or Nate.

don't you all see? lee goes against everything lb is trying to do to this team. he started him for 6 games straight and look what happened. lee breeds to much success for lb's taste. it's almost as though he is sabotaging this team into a 20 win season with his throw it-up-against-the-wall-and-let's-see-what-sticks lineups every night. lee should most certainly be playing more minutes if not starting every night. at this point, i don't even really care who starts as long as msg puts up the pics of those SAME FIVE FACES at the beginning of every game for the next 28. but after witness what lb has done for the first 50+, i know that would be like trying to get blood from a turnip.
