with about 4 mins to go in the 4th quarter and after the knicks called timeout...

about 10 sections under me in the 300's started a "FIRE ISIAH" chant.
and it got very noticeable.
how noticeable? noticeable to the point where knicks players looked up towards them.

the chant was quickly drowned out by a knicks video montage with music that was a little louder than usual.

isiah wasn't anywhere to be seen. national tv game and he went into hiding.

if he was there, it would've been louder.

this could get a little ugly if they don't win a few games relatively soon.

Zeke was on the phone with the Wolves discussing KG to Knicks this summer. It's a long term thing.

if he's been starphuckin..... and able to somehow get garnett this summer that would be awesome. i think this is the reason why hes piling great individual players. i said individual and not great TEAM players.

They should chant FIRE LARRY...

I mean, there's a lot of talent on this team and the systems aren't made for them... LB has been succesful because he had players who used to play his style, but he can't adapt to the players, the players have to adapt to him. I don't necessarily agree with that even though they all seem to lack defensive fundamentals...

oh i was in section 203...there were some "fire thomas" chants behind me, a slight variation from the one above. though i guess the more individual chants, the more disgust.

I'm just amazed that it's taken this long. At least at the games that I don't attend.

Whats going to be louder, David Stern saying "With the first pick of the 2006 NBA draft, the Chicago Bulls select..." or the "Fire Isiah" chants from the crowd attending the draft?

"Coach told me a million times during the game that I was nervous," Francis said, referring to Coach Larry Brown. "He told me to chill out. But I just wanted to try to do so well to help my team win, and I don't fault myself for that."

A million times?

>>Thomas chided reporters this week for repeatedly citing the Knicks' payroll as $120 million. The figure is unfair, Thomas said, because it includes $32 million being paid to players no longer on the roster — Allan Houston, Jerome Williams and Shandon Anderson. "I want you to add up the dollars that are actually playing out on the floor," Thomas said. The Knicks' starters last night will make a total of $46 million this season. The top nine players in the rotation make $83 million.

Yeah, fire Isiah.

The chant should be Lar-ree Lar-ree, cause its time for him to go. Leave or coach the team you have not the team you want to have. There is a saying that goes that if all you have is a hammer then everything looks like a nail.
I think this fits Brown cause he keeps hammerin away with his out of synch offense instead of using the tools he has.

i've been real busy lately, so i haven't been able to keep up with the Knicks or anything else for that matter.

i cannot believe the Knicks traded for Steve francis.

i can't give a honest answer about the mess isiah has created because all that would do is bring up the "so you rather have Layden" posts -- but isiah is dumb

why trade for francis when your team has absolutley zero chance of doing ANYTHING this year. isiah please answer that

then you have marbury
and crawford
and nate
and rose

and still no Defense

ugh.

The top 9 players aren't that bad..Only the players that Isiah brought in are at 97.5 mil, a little over a mil more than the Mavs and 14 mil more than Philly...That really does sort of put it in perspective a little...

seriously, i am beginning to not care for isiah any longer.

the man insults people intelligence. i swear he does. the salary cap is based on more than "players out on the floor".

country bastard thinking he's not

I definitely like hearing that from Steve. I'm not sure that both Marbury and Francis are part of the long-term plan but I do think this last trade will go down as a steal for us.

If there are chants, the chants should be for the entire ownership, managemnt and public relations staff

The chants should include Dolan, Brown and the marketing sales person who insists on making the Knicks wear those blue jersyes at home

kind of like they were when the chants were fire Layden? Oh wait I forgot... his teams played hard and never so much as sniffed the .278 ball we are playing now.

This should put it in perspective. Eisley, Ward, Harrington, Spoon, Kurt, Spree, Houston and Shandon Anderson played better... a LOT better than this $100mm nightmare your boy has created.

I cant think of a bigger insult
