J.Williams would actually be an amazing pickup if he can still play.

Reggie Miller?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Marcus Fizer.....can play the 3 and 4, defensive presence, may be able to guard the center spot in certain matchups, maybe even SG in certin matchups (with the bigger, sort of slower SG's).

Lynch would be decent too, Jay Williams-only if you are prepared to really slash Jamal's minutes so we can see what Jay has.

i would like to see what Jay can do. but anyone with defense i'd like to take a chance on. its really too bad JYD retired, his defense at the 3&4 would have really helped.

I think he is probably the most intriguing prospect out there (Jay). but we are SO deep at guard though......unless we are prepared to take the hit and totally shoot the trade value of Jamal of q in the foot (grnted they both may not have much if any at all), but still...

I really don't know who to pick up....they Knicks have plenty of decent players already.....there is no rush to pick up anybody.

There you have it.....the second guy I would sign for this team....
Fizer and Jimmy Jax can help this team and both are LB players....a SF/PF and a SG/SF who can, play defense and at the very least Jim Jax is a smart player....

James, Malik, Nate on the IL for now

Curry/Butler
Frye/Taylor/Fizer
Q1/Lee/Q2
Steph/Craw/Jax
Francis/Steph

jay will is the only one i'd sign at this point... there's no upside to signing any of the other choices... this season's finished... we need to use the remaining games to evaluate the players we currently have so LB can decide who stays & who goes.

Interesting how they let Spree go when its H20 who broke down.

I would love Spree back but I know it will never happen.

what Briggs said ten times ove

>>we already have to many players

the inactive list has been a poor place for veterans AND rookies alike this season

The best roll players are the ones who come to work not expecting to play but do everything in theit power to stay into the game

The Knicks need more "honest days work" guys who jump up off the bench the instant a timeout is called to congratulate their teammates with high-fives

no matter what
once a knick always a knick

We know what Fizer brings, we know what Jim Jax brings...these are not players that need to be evaluated. I agree the youths need to play but they need some vets to learn from, and these two accomplish that. Jax is a heady, steady player who does a bunch of stuff, while Fizer is a GREAT defensive option who basically brings what Kenyon brings minus the points and the name.

This season, w/o our pick at this point it doesn't matter whether we win or lose. this knicks team now is exactly what I worried about when we said rebuild...so many young players to develop and so many young players to fall in love with, we focus more on the name and the fact that we drafted them and want to develop them rather than sorting out who is worth developing and to what point. Jax has been through alot and Fizer is not someone who you have to develop but what you see is what you get. There is plenty of room for Lee to get 15 minutes per, Frye to get 25-30 per (his conditioning needs work) and Nate 5-8 per as a change of pace guard.

We can argue all day that the rookies should play whatever and Larry should play whoever, but in all, but it doesn't matter because Larry is also trying to win to a degree....he is going to play Taylor and Rose (until maybe we give him what he considers better options, and I think JJax and izer are exactly the type of players LB likes), and maybe Nate, and even perhaps Craw more than he should. We have too many young guys and honestly we can not develop them all in one season.

In my opinion right now, Nate is the young on the roster that we have the least need to develop, followed by Craw and Q1(if you consider him a young)....the ones we Most have to develop are Frye, Butler, Curry (maybe if you think he will be here next year), and Q2..Lee to me falls somewhere in the middle because I don't think his ceiling is too high and I also think he really doesn't need to develop as much as play.

We should sign Timmy again. We need another useless player to fill in all the minutes penny was playing.
