Jalen and this year's rookies for Garnett or J. O'Neal. Taylor and the picks for Lamar Odom or Rashard Lewis. Offer full MLE to Mike James and Speedy Claxton. If Knicks make the dual offers in all three scenarios (Superstar PF, All-Star SF, and great backup PG) that creates pressure for whoever they're dealing with to accept before the other offer is accepted.

forget it... you're going to have to use up both expiring contracts along w/Frye & picks to get KG because MIN will be dumping Jaric, Hudson & or Hassell along w/him... either Marbury of Francis will also have to be traded to get any type of secondary piece like Odom.

Francis for Odom straight up is all i would offer, & even then i don't make the deal... i think Francis is better personally... forget including Lee & a pick on top... Odom's not even close to being that good to warrant all that.

i think u'd have to include Frye in that deal to make if feasible... MIN won't give up their franchise for just expiring deals & high priced unproven talent like Curry & Craw unless you give them a blue chip prospect like Frye.

C - Curry / Blount / Big Turd
PF - Evans (MLE) / Lee / Malik
SF - KG / Woods
SG - Q Rich / Craw
PG - Francis or Marbury / Jaric or Hudson

even giving up all those assets, you still would have a big improvement over the current roster (but you have to accept the fact that there won't be any flexibility to make many other deals at all for the next few years as well, so it's a gamble, but one i think is worth going for)

i really dont think Minny will bite on that. You need to take some of their other bad contracts as well. LA wont trade odom without getting frye. why mike james? i'd much rather find a guy to rotate with frye-curry in the backcourt.

keep dreaming. more likely Odom and Bynum will be traded for Garnett and we'll be left trying to jam 6 square guards into two round spots in the lineup.

if the big reason for getting Francis was to go after Garnett, it was a major mistake.

maybe we should see what happens in the offseason first before we say it was a mistake... you're not even waiting to see the results before u bash the reasoning behind it... if by next season we don't end up w/a stud franchise level player by using all these assets, & we're in salary cap hell w/6 G's & no relief in site, then believe me, i'll be right w/u bashing Isiah & rueing the day he ever came here.

Minny ain't trading us Garnett, forget about it. They don't want Marbury or Francis. They traded Marbury already. They might want Frye for some of their other junk. Isiah might do that.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Let's see what Frye can do before trading him, honestly. It can go both ways though, so who knows what the future will hold...We don't.
