When does Allan Houston come off our cap?
When does Shandon Anderson come off?
Is JYD off the cap after this year?
How much is Curry's contract worth? Does anyone know the yearly breakdown?

After next season Allan, Shandon and JYD come off of the cap. I dunno about Eddy's contract figures though.

nope next..$35mil comes off next year(in JYD,AH,Shandon) and then we also have MoT+Jalens expirings totaling just over $25mil.

Known as "Junk Yard Dog," Williams was waived in August via the new NBA labor agreement's amnesty program. The Knicks, however, still owe him the $21.3 million remaining for the final three years of his contract, which remains on their salary cap.

If you see the Knicks team salary figures you can see that JYD's contract runs this year, and next, and the 3rd year is a team option. I assume the Knicks don't have to take the third year, so that would let it go off the books after next season.

A sizeable chunk of our salary cap right now (~$34.5mill) is devoted to three guys who aren't even on the team (Houston, Shamdon Anderson, JYD). Those guys come off the books after the 06/07 season. We will still be well over the cap for some time, but even if Isiah continues to trade expiring contracts it will get a bit better.

there were posters on this forum that argued that JYD's contract was fully guaranteed through the '08 season when they were justifying the choice to use the Amnesty clause on him over Malik Rose... if JYD's contract is indeed expiring NEXT season, then Isiah made the wrong choice as i thought he had when that all went down.

i agree, if JYD was truly hurt, he should have just retired.

its not posted anywhere, but it starts at $7.3mil and seems to have a 10% increase from year to year. also i remember reading that only the 1st 3 years of his 6 year deal are guarenteed.

i agree, if JYD was truly hurt, he should have just retired.

i would have much preferred to have an injured JYD on the bench right now than a healthy Malik Rose stealing minutes away from Lee & Woods.

It's an average of 10 per over 5 years....but his number will probally be around 8 per next year...His contract is not guaranteed, so you are not going to see his numbers going out into the future....He has to play a certain amt of games each season for that particular season to be guaranteed....
