so because he hung up on you he doesn't know hoops? come on dude, get over it... Lee was the starting SF when we went on that 6 game run... i don't see anything wrong w/him saying Lee needs to get more playing time... where is he off on that?

When it comes to hoops, SAS and Greg Anthony is clearly the lead at that station, radio and television...Please don't throw Brandon in there, he is out of his league.....

If Brandan was so good, it would be his show....since he knows more about football and baseball.....

How is it that Brandon is more knowlegable in everything and he is the side guy...How does that work?

like i said, Steven A has alot more access to the team & he's got alot more connections in the industry... but as far as pure hoops knowledge goes, i put BT right up there w/the both of them... he knows his college hoops too for that matter.

I like Lee too, but he was getting torched, absolutely torched...He is not a 3....

One game you might remember against Cleveland, he was holding LeBron and Lebron was going nuts..Coach had to put Q on him and he did a good job....

Trust me I like Lee....He can't play the 3 for us......

Also I wasn't pissed he hung up, its part of the show...but he knew I was right about Lee not being able to holding people and he couldn't respond.....

BT does well with St. John hoops tho...I do like him there, but he is not in SAS class......

I can't believe we are going back and forth on this..

SAS has his own television show.....Are you kidding me...

Widely respected around the league and you are telling me Brandon is just as good? Come on!!

the fact that he has his own TV show doesn't have much to do w/this discussion... that just means he's got good connections in the industry & that he's got a colorful personality, which he does... i'm not saying the guy doesn't know hoops btw.

& let's not get this confused... i didn't say BT was just as good a tv talk show host... i just said the guy knows his hoops.

just when you thought ny may have been trying to get under the cap...... a trade like this happens.

like i mentioned after the Mo-T trade.....ny is still the cap relief center of the nba

One thing I'll say about being under the salary cap - only one champion has added a major piece by getting under the cap in the last 15 or so years - the Lakers.

NY will never be under the cap. I don't mind that. But you have to build a complimentary team and I'm tired of saying, "well, this summer Isiah will make it all make sense," or "when Isiah can use the expiring deals it will all make sense."

Not only mIke and the Maddog but TNT(aldridge, barkley and kenny smith) and ESPNradio(michael kay, Stve A. Smith) killed the trade/knicks. they don't understand where the knicks are coming from with this one.....

I'm not saying I like the roster or this trade, but let's face it: the national media will kill the Knicks (and Yankees) no matter what they do. These are the same people who felt Patrick Ewing was a piece of scum because he couldn't carry a team to a championship. Let's let this be settled on the court.

It's pretty obvious that the Knicks suck. I'm glad Mikey finally woke up.

We're 73-113 since Isiah took over and nobody in his right mind thinks that this is going to be getting better any time soon. I think it's safe to say that it's being settled on the court and the media has every reason to kill Isiah's tenure as GM, regardless of it being with the Knicks.

that's what I said about this trading deadline. I've passed my final judgement. will they be fun to watch during short stretches? sure. will they ever get past the first round of the playoffs with this roster/philosophy? no.

We can sit here and kill Zeke and some of it he deserves...I'm a fan of Zeke...but don't forget a component of that horrible number is Larry doing his thing and coaching us to a 15-37 record as well...leaving us to wonder how the hell is AD and Malik Rose getting so much PT......When do we see a rotation...Can we play the kid's now...

The new thing now is, you're not serious about having Franchise run the point and moving Marbs to the 2 are you...you were kidding right...are we still working that 12 man rotation...Is it possible to have more different rotations than actual games in the same season....Is that what you are trying to figure out....

I do know the Knicks got better by getting Franchise and the cap number really don't matter when you really look at it...Just as long as the giveaway stops in the same year, hopefully in 09/10...So why do I feel like Starsky and Hutch driving back from prison after questioning Will Farrell's character Big Earl.....

I was just talking about settling the evaluation of the Francis trade on the court.

I actually don't think whether this trad works will depend much on "team chemistry" like the media says. I think Steph and Steve have all the skills necessary to make it work. There's no reason why either one can't *excel* at either guard position. I think whether it works well enough for the Knicks to play +.500 ball will depend solely on how *hard* Steve and Steph play.

If Curry could stay on the court for 35 minutes and board, the Knicks would be OK. I'm starting to question his hoops IQ.
