I know its only been 3 games, but in the last 3 games, or roughly 76 minutes of playing time, Channing has managed to pull down 33 boards. That works out to something ridiculous like 20.8 rebs per 48. Just as a comparison, the league leader in rebs per 48 is Ben Wallace at 16.3 per 48. Over the course of the year, Channing has averaged about 11.3 per 48. So this stretch has definitely been impressive and above the norm for him.

Hard to glean much out of a 3 game stretch, I know, but he's shown an increased committment to hitting the boards. If he continues to get a chance to start, and sustain solid PT, it will be interesting to see how long this will continue.

he was quite active and bouncy last night. I agree i like the bounce in the step of Lee and Frye. We can say vet to the cow comes home, but i still think that if we concentrated from day 1 on very specific type trades--ending contracts high caliber young prospects and picks, we would be in much better position with less than 1/2 the payroll.

every trade has been a mistake starting with marbury---it was the wrong path to follow. WE shouldve been the ones tading mcdyess for salries and picks guys he didnt want lampe etc.. had a market at the time we could have a roster of high quality young talent by now with more wins better future and 1/2 the payroll.

i dont think curry is a 1 every 20 year player, but he still must have considerable trade value.id rather have an extra pick in 2006+2007 + a prospect--same deal we gave chicago, then curry.

Ill trade Curry right now to GS for Biendrins Ellis a unrestricted 2007 and Foyle--today right now get mulin on the line:>)

I would do that trade also. Frye is enough scoring in the frontcourt. I'm not saying dump Curry. He's young and if they can get under his skin enough he may yet grow some cojones. Its all about chemistry and parts that fit. Its funny how this is EXACTLY what the Rangers of MSG did. They just kept adding disgruntled stars from teams that didnt want them anymore and they stunk with a payroll double of any other hockey team. Hmmm... sounds familiar.

Its just amazing that a guy that won titles with one of the toughest teams ever has collected such a group of pansies.
