putting some muscularity on his amrs and shoulders--he really has none right now--but if you did put that muscle on his upper arms-back and shoulders--not overwhelming but a clear upgrade in upper-body strength

what would his numbers be from the PF position playing 35 minutes?

At 6-9 lets say 240?
35 minutes 12 points 11 rebounds 3 assists 1.5 steals 52%

Lee brings a lot of skills to the table that other guys on our team don't offer. (very good rebounding, a passing big man, a willing hustle player, someone who tries on D). It would be very tough to give him up.

I definitely think he could add more strength and retain his solid athleticsm. I've always thought of him as a PF/C swing more than an SF/PF swing. He was a PF/C swing in college...

I agree 100%. David Lee is not a SF. He's an athletic PF, and would be a solid one at that. If he gained 10-15 pounds he could do a lot of damage. I don't have to sell any of you guys on the intangibles Lee brings to the table. He has a nose for the ball, does all the dirty work, shoots a high percentage, and doesn't require a lot of touches to be productive.

I agree. Lee would be a great PF with a little more muscle. His numbers are never going to wow, but his intangibles are exactly what this team needs. A team with Lee at PF and Miles at SF would be nice.

he would be a starter, and if not... one of the best big men off the bench

I don't think Lee is a numbers/stats guy- I doubt he'd every average anything like 12 & 11.

I'm thinking a jeff foster type- where every now and then he put up 20 & 20, but with averages more like jeff's this year 6 & 8

I think he'd be more than 6 and 8 but markedly less than All Star......maybe 12-14, 7-9, a few assists and some D.
