I love Nate but all the extra attempts took some of it away for me. What he did accomplish was great but I think Iggy should have won it.......and I am not a hater!!!

yea but i mean its not against the rules to have all the tries...they should do something like limit them to 3 tries or something and not take away from what the kid won.

Nate won. It's not his fault that he took full advantage of the rules. Iguodala once again flashed his Vince Carter-like athleticism... but if you throw away all of the misses (like we're supposed to)... Nate was killa.

Iggy had one great dunk and recycled the same between the leg dunks over and over again. Nate was trying new and really near impossible dunks, the extra tries, I had no problem with because of the degree of difficulty, the fact that he almost made that between the legs off the glass at half court dunk is amazing, If he had made that, I would of jumped through the window at my house...LOL..
But the dunk where he put it between both legs before he hit the ground and then caught if for a dunk was very difficult and creative, the dunk over spud was nasty, I mean most guys dunk over guys sitting down, and the guy in the chair still has to duck, I mean how tall is a guy sitting down? a little over four feet? nate cleared spud who is 5'7.
Nate deserved it. Iggy had the best dunk, nate had more dunks...

The one thing about it. Nate and Iggy definitely brought back the luster of the Dunk contest, I hadn't cared about it for years. Props to both of them for that!!

Well as Magic always say hes a bnissman; which is amazing that somoene thats so successful and always praised for his business ventures outside of basketball can't add up five numbers.....
Nates dunks were superior except for the under the board dunk; but you can see how people think it was AI's contest considering Nate tried 9 dunks to get the through the legs down, which would have been the best dunk in dunk contest history had he made it off the class, and 15 on that scissor kick dunk, but you know what we needed something this year
Robbed or not we'll take it

no marquee names. until they are forced to compete, the luster won't return.
the nba can force any player to participate in any other event during the weekend other than the dunk contest. that's why the 3pt shootout, the skills competition, and the shooting stars event had all the big names.
