He says this is his last season...does anyone care anymore? Personally, I'm sick of these artificially enhanced players who have arrogance to pretend they are just getting better and stronger with age. Good riddance *******.

I like Barry Bonds. Juice or no juice, the guy was a superstar from day 1 when he was 175 pounds. if I hold Barry Bonds accountable for using juice, then I might as well not even pay attention to pro football and any of the records, because at one time or another 85% of the league is on them. Hockey baseball football how far back--we dont know, so his stats are good to me.. dont ask, dont tell:>)

I agree 100% Briggs. People need to realize that, throughout the history of baseball, people were shooting human growth hormones into their asses. Ruth, Williams, DiMaggio- They all stuck needles into their asses to be as good as they were, and people are bulls-hitting themselves if Bonds wasn't better than all of those guys.

In all sincerity, though, Bonds, pre roids, wasn't on the same level as, say, a Griffey Jr., who was a natural, drug-free talent. He was an all-star caliber player (not 'all time great' caliber), but his production skyrocketed once he sipped from the tainted cup. Look at the bodies of guys from the 70s, 80s, then look at the drugged up monsters from the 90s and 00s. Definite difference in body type.

Sammy stopped shooting up, sneezed and blew out his back.

Sammy, Barry and McGwire all shot up big time.

I hope he blows out his Knee and lets Aarons record stand.

Henry went thru hell to break it and barry makes a mockery of it.

THese freaks need to be found as the con artists they were.

If he is close to breaking Aaron's record, he's coming back.

Where do you get that information from?

I just made it up. I really hope they didn't stick needles in their asses, unless it was for fun. And even then. I mean why would you do that?

there was a thing on real sports on hbo, where players from the 60s and 70s said guys were taking steroids even back then.

Well that settles that then...all the greatest players used steroids because some players said that players used steroids.
