just saw this article (http://nbadraft.net/patel002.asp) off of nbadraft.net and it got me thinking on who i would have on an olympic team when they next do the summer games. on the site it said duncan, shaq, mcgrady, allen, or garnett wouldnt be playing i belive so i didnt count them in mine. also, not sure how many guys on the team, so im just putting 12. im not really doing a lot of research on it, just naming guys off the top of my head and then seeing who you guys would put on your teams, cuz its sunday and im lazy to look up all the guys in the league. but anyway off hand, i think id have:

pg chauncey billups
pg chris paul
sg michael redd
sg allen iverson
sg kobe bryant
sf ron artest
sf lebron james
sf shawn marion
pf dwight howard
pf chris bosh
c amare stoudamire
c ben wallace


wow actually i dunno, im just lookin at the all star teams and this is leaving off rip hamilton, dwayne wade, marcus camby, gilbert arenas, paul pierce, elton brand, etc...so yea id like to see your teams cuz i really have no idea what im doing haha.

id put rip on there because his game translates well into the international game, and he plays great D, nonstop energy, etc.

yeah nobody internationally can stay with rip...he tired the opponent by constantly running....

And Ron Artest should be good for an international incident or two. We should go there to kick ass. We don't need Superstarts. We need Rodman.

i was thinking bowen, but hes getting a bit older. id rather have a guy like artest or prince on the team for their defense than bowen. plus artest can be a scorer too. now if theyd only overlook his off the court behavior, maybe he has a shot at being invited, but probably not.

i want morrison and/or redick on the team - their games would translate really well into the european game. i'd probably go with:

PG: Chauncey
PG: Chris Paul
SG: Ray Allen or Michael Redd
SG: Kobe
SG: Rip Hamilton or Morrison
SF: Lebron
SF: Artest
PF: Elton Brand
PF: Garnett
PF: Dwight Howard
C: Ben Wallace
C: Duncan
