When is Layden going to make some moves?

Utah i'm sure wants to dump Ostertag, and would for Harrington+Eisley.
They have 3 other centers on their squad that are ahead of Ostertag anyway, Collins-Curtis B., Amaechi.

Dallas wants KT (and will take ward) for NVE.

I'm sure we could get Bradley (Utah Connection) and NVE for KT, Ward, Anderson (Dallas lost greg buckner, they need a defensive 2/3 - and Najera can't cover SG's).

After these trades, we'd have an openning day roster of:

PG: NVE, Frank Williams
SG: Houston, Postell (assuming he is resigned)
SF: Spree, Weatherspoon
PF: Dice, Travesty Knight
C: Bradley, Ostertag

I assume that NY isn't bringing back larry robinson or felton spencer

they'd be better off with Mark Blount, and picking up Byron Russell at the vet's minimum (or whomever we can salvage)

That's probably the best situation right now, barring a blockbuster.

i think layden is going to try to pull off a blockbuster, because he wants NVE and a bigman the sametime...

i don't really blame him for trying to organize a one-shot blockbuster - all of his other trades that would have only made sense with follow up trades (which all seemingly fell through) must have taught him a lesson - Never make a trade hoping to make a future one. just do it all in one deal.

Ward for Foyle (GS) is still out there, but i'm sure GS probably doesn't want Ward or Eisley...
