Just a thought...

Marbury, J.James, Butler and Ariza to Minn for Jaric, Hassell, Blount,Griffin and Madsen (works on realgm). Helps us get rid of Marbury and James's contract, and pick up some much needed defensive help.

We could try to sign Mike James with the MLE, although we may have to free up a roster spot. Potentially, our lineup could look like this...

Curry (Blount)
Frye (Griffin)
Woods (Lee)
Q.Richardson (Hassell)
Jaric (M.James/N.Robinson)

Bench - J.Rose, M.Rose, M.Taylor (all expiring contracts), Crawford, Madsen

I think Blount is/could be better than James (similar contract)
Griffin is talented offensively and defensively, same with Hassell (more D though)
Jaric is question mark and a "combo" guard - at least he is cheaper than Marbury.
Madsen is garbage but hustles and only makes 2.2m - 12th man.

If we could find taker for Crawford and/or Q.Richardson - our team chemistry would really improve.

that's horrible, no offense... Jaric, Hassell, Blount all have big, longterm contracts & all are nothing but role players... not 1 of them will make an appreciable impact on this team... & for that you want to trade away the team's best player? come on newb! ;)
