Thanks for refreshing my memory oohah, but I really was not trying to call out larry in this thread, just wondering why he doesn't play both together more, I am not saying he is right or wrong but with the results we got tonight, I wonder what his reasoning is......
If that is questioning his approach, then I am guilty as well...
yea, I hate to question a guy like brown with his credentials, but I really wonder why not just play the rookies, they seem to be productive when they get the time. I watched the Hawks last night and Jos smith, josh childress and salim stoudamire looked good while beating the lakers, with playing time, you either improve or you are not in the league, but at least you know what you have....
Questioning an obviously poor performance is nothing to be guilty about. It does not diminish LB's past successes.
For example:
If the Knicks sign an older star player who just had a couple of good seasons. We have every right to expect a good performance. And if he averages 5 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 turnovers while shooting 37%, anyone who is observing is well within their right to say: "He is not playing well."
Defenders of the star player may say that there were all sorts of circumstances contributing to his poor performance, and they may be right in many ways.
And it doesn't mean the player was not great before. It doesn't mean he might not be great again.
But it doesn't change the fact of his poor performance for that season.

I think it is strange that everyone is so much more depressed now than the were after the 7-21 (.250) start.
Since then the Knicks are 8-16! That's .333! The 'slow start' is behind us!
We improved to .288!!
