Isn't Charles Oakley a free agent? Why not sign him and Doleac, using the vet exception on one of them. Oakley does everything Thomas does, so then trade Thomas and Ward for VE. Oakley could also play some center, and we all know he's a great defeneder and rebounder. Sign him for one year, if it doesn't work don't resign him.

I like that Get Oak-man back and get Ewing back to play the center position. They still have NYK pride in them. Please no Doleac that would be a bad move on the knicks part. Sign Keon and take it from there. There is no point in waiting to pull the trigger in the NVE deal the Knicks should do it fast as possible. It really shouldn't matter if the Knicks don't have a center or not just get NVE here and worry about the center position later..
