Press Release - Clippers Vice President of Basketball Operations Elgin Baylor announced today that the team has acquired forward Vladimir Radmanovic from the Seattle SuperSonics in exchange for forward Chris Wilcox.

“Vladimir gives us versatility and he fits very well into our system,” Baylor said. “He’s agile and he runs the floor well. We see him playing multiple positions and his outside shooting will stretch the defense and be a big positive for our inside players.”

Radmanovic, in his fifth NBA season, has career averages of 10.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. The 6’10” Radmanovic is averaging 9.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 23.2 minutes per game this season. He set a new career-high with 30 points at New York on January 8, 2006 and is shooting a career-best .887 from the free throw line this season. [READ]
''We don't have the luxury to take anybody lightly,'' New York's Quentin Richardson said. ''We're not that good.''

Id take Wilcox if they want to re-route him in a package. Id give them Nate Ariza + Lee for Wilcox+ Evans and their #2 this year.

Briggs, didn't you read the article where the clippers bench, espcially casell was yelling at Wilcox because he was being abused by our very own channing frye? what do you want to do with wilcox? I am not sure this kid has the fire either...

Id rather have Wilcox than Fortson! Wilcox still has good potential. I mean he played behind Elton Brand--he wasnt going to see the light of day anyway--go look at his numbers when he started games--plenty of 20-10 games.

not bad briggs, I always kept a eye on wilcox since he was at maryland, I would take him over fartson, I mean fortson, but why would seattle do that?

nice little trade.

wilcox, petro, swift - not a bad little young frontcourt.
seattle may have to start thinking about moving ray ray...

we may see something like nate for reggie evans straight up (i think we may be able to squeeze a pick out of them also)

Why would they give us a pick when were getting an expiring contract?

the dollars are nominal. nate has 100X more value than reggie evans for seattle.

This trade is a statement trade from the clips. I thought that they were missing a three point threat. They definately got him. No more Ross and his bum ass while maggette is out. They are now locked and loaded!

Wilcox is a nice player for Seattle. Wilcox, Wilkins, and Lewis sounds deadly in a open court game.

But seriously the clipps are for real. This trade was them pulling back the hammer. They are locked and loaded.
