I don't want to hear anymore talk about bringing in more veteran role players at this point... unless we're targeting a real impact type player like KMart, Al Harrington or someone of that ilk, i say stand pat, don't make any stupid trades, & LET THE KIDS PLAY!!!

Setting ourselves up for a better future by suffering a little now is fine by me at this point... it's clear this team will not make the playoffs this year or next in all probability... so i say give the kids as much playing time as possible, & let's see them grow... we're losing games whether we play our vets or not... what the hell is the difference if we lose w/our young guys getting the minutes they need to develop their games?

Forget about the lottery pick we gave up to CHI... what's done is done... just focus on what you have, & developing our youth should be the #1 thing on LB & Isiah's agenda for the rest of this season barring any significant trades to land us a star calibre player.

I think Lee, Nate, and Ariza are being given limited minutes to prevent any injury from happening--because if there is a trade those guys are important chips.

if that's the case, they better be going in a trade for a major player... i don't want to hear any talk about guys like Earl Watson, Reggie Evans, Flip Murray, etc... you can get players like these every offseason via free agency.

I agree but will Larry do it? The last time he did it by default and we won 6 straight! Will he do it agin???

And btw I'm totally against KMart and think he represents a step backward.

Thank you TMS. Some sense. Well, all except K-Mart. You know he is going to tank with injuries if he comes here like everyone else.

here's the rotation:
steph - 28
q1 - 25
jalen - 33
mo - 29
curry - 23

off the bench
nate - 21
craw - 25
q2 - 24
frye - 22

nominal minutes
malik - 30
jerome - 30
dlee - 22
trevor - 20
jackie - 20

we're really playing young guys. the real argument is playing david. but the guy in front of him is 24. we just have to get BETTER guys.

that's fine if you're against Kmart... he comes with major healthy issues, so i agree it's a huge risk... but he at least represents a player who, if healthy, can make a noticeable impact on this team... players like Watson, Evans, etc. are just more role players for this team full of mismatched role players... i'd rather just focus on developing what we currently have than sacrificing any of our young guys' playing time by making any of those types of trades.

I agree, but I think Lee will be traded by the deadline.

Malik, Jerome & Mo T shouldn't even be playing for all intents & purposes... i'd give all their minutes to Frye, Lee, Woods, Ariza & Butler.

Brown's doing the same thing Herb did last year. Playing the vets when there's nothing to play for anymore. So to me he's doing as bad a job if not worse than Herb Williams. Thats right, Herb Williams.

He's getting into Don Cheney territory, if you ask me.

In 50 years it will be one of those surprising trivia questions: Who coached the NY Knicks to their worst season in team history? Answer: Larry Brown "You mean the guy who won back to back championships with them in 2007 and 2008?" "Yep, the same dude."
