there are rumblings of a power struggle behind the scenes. lb is criticizing the players and their confidence is shaken. isiah has assembled this squad but has anuchagate going on. we're losing at a very exponential rate. if there are changes on the horizon, who stays, who goes?
isiah
lb
both

what rumblings? I dont get the sense that LB and Isiah are at odds, If I had to guess I would say isiah I guess. but I dont think either will get fired this season.

What???

You don't break up a duo like this!!!

Would you split up Lewis and Clark? Lewis and Martin? Ren and Stimpy? Chad and Jeremy?

Didn't think so!

Then don't split up Milli Vanilli!

Throw them BOTH the F under the bus!!!

People are strange, when you're a stranger
Faces look ugly when you're alone
People seem wicked, when you're unwanted
Streets are uneven, when you're down

When you're strange- faces come out of the rain (rain, rain)
When you're strange- no one remembers your name
When you're strange, when you're strange, when you're str-ange

it will be cheaper to fire isiah- that will have to wait for the sexual harrassment thing to go away.

If this team starts like this next year, the over/under has to be LB leaving before December 2007.

If the team starts like this next year LB and Isiah will both be gone before Jan 1.

djsunyc - what Slim Pack said, what rumblings of WHAT power struggle?

You REALLY think Larry is jockeying to become PBO?

Can you document these so-callled "rumblings" before posting divisive material?

A. In addition to his coaching duties, Brown said he discussed personnel in his daily conversations with friends and former players who are now in management positions throughout the league. "I'll ask opinions about players just to get Isiah some information," Brown said about the Knicks' president, Isiah Thomas.

B. Brown admitted he has been working the phones but said he has not discussed trades during his conversations with opposing general managers. Brown has either coached for or worked with many GMs, including Utah's Kevin O'Connor, Philadelphia's Billy King and the Spurs' R.C. Buford.

C. "I call to get information, not to talk trades," Brown said. "I've been getting a lot of calls from guys that have worked with me just to see if I've jumped off a bridge."

Try again

Who can document anything? It's what's been reported, and what AD said.

Regardless, Isiah now says that he is going to trade for players that Larry wants. To do that, his best chips are the players he drafted or acquired, about whom he said he wanted to build around.
