Please isiah DON'T trade nate. I know he is going through some learning curves and bumps but he has such incredible heart and talent. Remember he is only in his 40th game of at least a 10 yr career. He is going to keep getting better and better. He may not be a true point guard but he is a player. Don't blame him because the team sucks. Anyone thats a yankee fan then remember "Jay Buhner". Buhner was a good not great player who was traded for an older player who played 1-2 unspectacular years while we watched Buhner have a solid career for 10-15 yrs. KEEP NATE.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

If you think a trade, any trade can improve this team right away, you are dead wrong.

Only time and the eventual (hopeful?) development of some kind of chemistry and system wil lead to any improvement. I only wish they'd follow the Rangers model and just blow it up and reubild, too bad they don't have the same opporutunity to cut all their players of the cap and start over like the hockey teams did after the strike.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Nates talent is in the open court with an unstructured team with defence not the priority.

Heart and talent go a long way, but with Larry you have to have disipline. Nate is just he wrong kind of plaer for this team.

It ain't his fault, nor is he at fault here. We just need some tweaking.

How many rookies have tons of discipline? Not many. Patience.

Are you old enough to remember Micheal Ray Richardson's rookie year? He was awful, yet he became an all-star caliber player in his second season. I'm not saying that Nate will be the player he was, mostly due to size, but I think he has an upside that I would be willing to wait on.

Exactly the type of trade we need to avoid. Sure james is playing well this year but hes almost 31 yrs old. Where will he be in 2 yrs? Short-sighted thinking.

i'm talking about the offseason... if we're going to target Mike James (as has been rumored in many media sources), then i would have no problem trading Nate to improve the team in other areas.

that's fine... if the commitment is shown to develop these guys (as i outlined in my other thread), then i'm fine w/holding onto Nate... i'm not saying i want Nate out of here for the sake of shipping him out.

I want Mike James too....but he definately is not a back-up anymore....he might just stay in Toronto...they are winning nowadays and just might make the playoffs.....
