Now it lists Net per, Net on/off +/-, and Roland Rankings.

Butler, Marbury, Woods, and Curry are the only other Knicks with decent #s.

And Brown is jerking him around too. Good for the rookie's confidence.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Anyone above 0.6 should be kept. (yes, I'm admitting Marbury is unmoveable).

Get rid of everyone else.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

frye's 82games, +/- thingie, will go down the more minutes he plays though.

Frye's numbers will go down playing extended minutes on a bad team, but the rest of the team's numbers might go up.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Frye needs to start at some point. Brown says crap like players with heart play and then starts the slug MoT who has never played help D in his life.

Frye has played a lot of minutes- the problem is, so has everybody. Like 10 players all getting a decent amount of time. Frye should only come out if he passes out...

If Frye would not collect fouls, he can earn more minutes.

Why does everyone assume a player can go 48 and produce at the same level.

They don't. It's just a device for comparison purposes.

What are you talking about??? He's averaging 3 fouls a game, not 6.

THREE, not SIX!

Earn? We're the worse team in the friggin league? What are we playing at? You're the 8th pick in the draft and possibly the best player this team has acquired in the draft since patrick ewing. You need to EARN minutes.

Perhaps through observation.

I did in the first quarter, but I think you know that small sample sizes have limited generalizability, whether it be one quarter, one game, or sometimes even one season.

The kid has size and skills. If you want to give up on him, go ahead. In my opinion, that would be short-sighted.

Curry is who he has always been. The deal that brought him here may end up having a worse backlash than Houstons hunned mill.

No one is who they always have been when they are only 23.

Early on Frye was getting 30 minutes. He was scoring more but on the defensive end he was a sieve. In the time he gets now, it doesn't seem he has learned 1 thing about defending in 50 games.

Make him earn it.

Cause we're friggin in LAST PLACE in the whole FRIGGIN LEAGUE.

Mr Frye, you're the 8th pick in the draft, probably the most talented player drafted by our organization since Ewuing and we're in last place not in our division or conference, but the whole league, and we think you need to earn time.

Play him! Play him until he fouls out or drops from exhaustion. Let him learn by doing because you don't learn by watching.
