coming off the rookie game and the dunk contest, his value will be at an all-time high.

i don't want to trade him. i still think lb loves the kid even if he's dumb as rocks. but IF we're gonna do it, his value will not be higher than after all-star weekend.

i think we have to package him with jerome as that may be the only way to dump that big piece of turd. primary target would be seattle but nate may have more value than reggie. (nate + jerome for reggie + fortson + pick?)

other possibility would be nate + q1 for al harrington. unless we do something crazy and somehow wind up with maggette.

both teams will bite as they need to sell tickets.

Damn keep Nate. He's a guy who can change the pace of a game, get some steals, score a bunch of quick baskets, pump up the crowd and his teammates, stroke a few hands. He's hyper as hell but that can be leveraged.

I have a nasty feeling that Q is going to be humiliated in the 3pt contest. has anyone ever missed all their shots? with his back shot he has no lift on his J anymore, it's sad.

i agree 100%. like you said, i think he's like lb's pet project. the problem is that this entire team is a project. does he have the time to cultivate nate as well? it looks like he will require alot of attention.

We have the same team with the subtraction of AD and the addition of Jalen Rose...let's make a deal.

If we do make a trade for Earl Watson, I really can't see Nate getting any playing time. So I guess now would be a good time to try to trade him for a young forward or 2 guard. I guess with Larry being around it will be difficult for and young player to stay on our team.

I have to say the most surprising thing about Nate is that he has virtually no point guard abilities whatsoever...I was under the impression that since he was a small guy he could automatically play that position if needed. He can't.

If we 're gonna trade one of the rookies, it should be NAte.. He's 5'9 and limtied to one position which he cannot play well(pg).

Lee and Frye are big men which they should not trade away..

Knicks are in desperate need of a back-up pg.. No one other than marbury can play point

i like the sound of that... from here on out, i will refer to JJ as "The Big Turd"

You had to go there.

Fine.

Then you should know that in Seatle they're still erecting monuments to the legacy of Jerome"Big Turd " James!

What does Nate need to do to stick around? He's a rookie and has one of the best 3pt shooting percentages in the league. All three of these guys will ba nasty next year. They have looked better than most of the rookies in the league so far. Why trade them? You'd have to get something amazing back.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I agree with djsunyc Monday will be the perfect time to deal Nate even if he loses.

what's the verdict? trade him or not?

my stance as a fan? do not trade nate. i'd like to see what he can develop into.

milli vanilli's stance? i have no use for nate, he requires too much work. let's trade him for reggie evans.

I doubt Dolan would let Isiah trade him unless it was for something outstanding. Nate's gonna sell a lot of jerseys. Probably 2nd most on the team behind Marbury.

Isiah has gotten fleeced in virtually every trade he has made. I dread any trade.
