source? hunch?

if we get a guy like Miles/Kmart/Francis for Lee, i understand the logic. If it's just for Theo I am going to kill myself.

i'm thinking that if dlee is going out, then dmiles is coming back.

otherwise, the people responsible should have their balls cut off.

hell no, totally different ball game.

edit: actually the more I think about it, so long as nene is actually healthy, this is the exact type of trade this team needs. trade two players who don't have a position and are defensive liabilities for two guys who are prototypical defenders, still young. I would miss craw and lee, but I'd be ecstatic to get our rightful nene back. and of coure he'd get a max extension this summer.

If that's the deal, then Isiah needs to take his ball and go home.

I would not be happy if the Knicks made a big move for Nene. He's off a big injury AND he's already been a pretty decent dissapointment in the NBA so far. Plus we already have Curry. What's the point in a move like that?

Nene plays defense and blocks shots? his rebounding has been a slight disappointment, but he's one of the better defensive bigs in the game. extremely physical.

I'm against the Knicks signing or trading for playoffs coming off injuries...regardless of who or what they are capable of

I don't think any player on this team is untouchable. However, I also don't think any moves are going to make a difference. The Knicks problems are so engrained, they've got to hit bottom before any improvement is possible.

I'd be very surprised if Lee is shipped. Don't thinks it will happen but if it does I'd not be very happy.

Bottom would be if the Bulls get to draft Oden with the Knicks' 2007 first round pick.

I don't understand why David Lee can't trun into a monster at the power forward spot. The guys is more of a natural power forward. It looks like he has the frame to add substantial muscle and really bulk up. He has proved already he is capable of making an outside shot. He can dribble the ball. He can get the ball in the low post and face other power forwards and take them off the dribble with either hand. David is gifted athletically as well and is a tremendous rebounder. Why are we not trying to bulk him up and turn him into a monster around the basket. If he can all of a sudden start knocking down 20 footers then he can definitely learn some effective post moves. I don't care if that is Frye's position. Let them both develop at the 4 and then we'll deal with it. Lee can be an incredible asset at the power forward. He can really be a force in transition on the boards and he definitely has potential to learn post moves. Let him just work every day in practice and with coaches and on his own and get this done. The Knicks are fooling themselves if they think Lee can play small forward. that is a joke. He can get away with playing there for a little but over time he will just get exposed and he wont be used to his best abilities. Develop him the way that he can excel the best and then deal with it.
