per knicks4life.com - some of their posters have been right about team transactions before. the poster, air ariza (who i think is crashdmb here) is saying that a deal may possibly be going down before the game tomorrow.

here's the thread: http://www.knicks4life.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8977

it's insinuated and the specifics weren't released so check for yourself.

Yea thats me but make sure you read the title and first line of my post...

"Changes may be coming..."

"Don't quote me, but I heard..."

I'm just posting what I've heard from a few people. And one of the other posters who I know has a really reliable inside source also posted some info.

BTW dj, I used your review of the LB on Mike and the Mad Dog and gave you your credit, great review.

Any vague hints and ideas on who it could possibly, maybe, perhaps involve?

Thanks Crash. I've said it before and I'll say it again; it's great to have guys like you and King1 around. Even though you cant give us any exact info, its always nice to know when to keep our ears and eyes tuned in through you guys. Excellent work as always.

And the panic moves have begun. When all else fails, and it's not even debatable anymore that Isiah has been a complete failure here, Isiah makes trades for more overpaid questionable players. How's that youth movement going? Just as well as the win now with Marbury movement.

And NOW he's asking LB for a list of the type of players he'd like to have here. Umm isn't that the type of thing that you ask during the interview process?!? What the hell were they talking about during all those well publicized trips to the Hamptons? Clothes?

Fire Isiah before he can inflict even more damage on this team. There is no plan and there never was any. At this point its all about self preservation.

Someone who insists on lottery protection when he trades first round picks.

Of course, the GM who follows Isiah will have a harder job than Isiah had following Layden as a result of the salary cap hell created, which reduces the number of top candidates (like Petrie) who would consider the job.

Seriously, you think that there aren't ANY qualified basketball people out there that could do better than making the Knicks the laughingstock of the NBA?

If you think Isiah is the only person in the entire basketball community that can do this job then you're even more of a sycophant than I thought.

??? this team could very easily be under the salary cap in a couple years or less.

True, but they won't be if any of these rumored trades materialize.

Just an update:

It is believe that the trade rumor that was floating around was a counter-offer to the Lakers involving Odom, Lee, Crawford and pieces. So as of right now, there is no deal on the table, but that deal was apparently very close to going down.
